- ...then I go home and decided to return on the bus for a proper 'lookaround'...and a few beers - or 'Scotch n' Cokes !?! On the way back , it was just after 1pm and the big 'Ride In' was taking place so I got that on film in the second part to today's rideout ...though I should've slowed down a bit , to get a clearer view of the parade....

I think being a Mod was more of a fashion/lifestyle movement, they listened mainly to Northern Soul, RnB and Ska type music. I grew up listening to my dads 45s from the sixties on an old Dansette, his collection included some Mod type stuff and the usual classic Beatles, Stones, Shadows etc etc. I was hijacked in my teens though by New Wave and the Indie music scene and 35 odd years later my wife thinks my musical tastes are still a bit out there.
...well, any kind of music from back then is better than today's tripe ...though sometimes there's an odd exception.

Well do you remember Darts? They were into do wop kinda music. As for 'mod' music, to me me its The Who, small faces like you said, even The Kinks, many people say Paul Weller is the 'modfather', don't know how 'cos early Jam were punks, and if anyone was your 'modfather' surely it would've been Sting as he was in Quadrophenia, maybe?
My favourite beetles song is Revolution which was the b side of Hey Jude. The band Geordie which the lead singer of ACDC was in were good heavy metal band. I think you need to set the camera back to daytime setting!!
....yes, I used to have a single record of theirs - 'All Because Of You' ! My camera was still set for filming the Illuminations...oops !

Sommat different nice, but seemed to be a bit overkill for the road closing.
I tried shouting that pendle road up to the A59 was closed, but you didn't listen to me lol. Sometimes I wish I was back living in clitheroe, nothing like that never happens where I live, except traffic and crime.

@@StevesHornet900 Exactly that, yes. Although I work on the outskirts of Manchester (M60). I hate commuting and prefer to leave near job opportunities, so many people lose hours and money stuck in traffic. Don't get me wrong, there are some nice areas outside of Manchester, but those areas are insanely expensive to live.

Your camera exposure is set too high Steve! okay in the dark but too bright in daylight.
....YES - I forgot to reset it from last weekend 's Lucynations ride through.....
Set it on auto and it will change itself to the light levels, you won't forget to change it back then... done it myself so just leave it on auto now.
....well, it was on auto for the 2016 Lucynations and it was too dark - so sometimes a manual adjustment is needed.....
...anyway - what do you mean you were at Great Harwood 'ALDI' and I should have told you about this event ??! YOU shudda told ME about it , seeing as you live there ! Diversion Bob told me about it, so I went...
