- Modrophenia! A Ribble Valley Scooter-Fest! SEE CHAPTERS BELOW Big turnout, as usual for this fabulous annual Ribble Valley Scooter Event. Hundreds of scooters descended on the town for this premier Lancashire scooter weekend. Good weather, and a big turnout from the citizens of Clitheroe to watch the 1:30 pm High Street ride-through. And what a spectacle it was! Scooters of all types, from choppers to side-cars to pick-up trucks to originals and vintage. Plenty of mirrors, parkas and Doc Martens on display too. Plus some very smart Mod attire. (Check out the Dandy Mods) We even had a Bond Bug! A scooter market and Mod bands at various pubs around the town made for a good weekend
Lots of weekend campers at the Cricket Ground., tents and camper vans. A nice site.

The scene is huge at the moment, all the 80s revival scooterists are coming back, we were huge in the 80s, so this revival will also be huge.. come on guys, remember the craic we had in the 80s..✌❤🛵🛵
Oh how things have changed... in the 80's the townsfolk ran for the hills and locked up their daughters when we rocked up. Looks like the circus has come to town with all these modern mirror clad autos.

Blimey - some proper plastic cheesy stuff packed in there 🤣🤣 Those Royal Alloy's --- 😣All too calm and corteous from what it was like back in the day. Some really cool machines too and nod to the few proper Mods who never left the scene so it seems. Keep the wheels turning! KTF
