I saw a theory somewhere that, in case there was ever a power outage in the pizzaria, Freddy was designed to do this to keep the kids calm and entertained.

People don’t realize how actually clever this whole sequence was in FNAF, you think you’re gonna die by the low tempered purple bunny waiting at your door when the power goes out, but you see this unknown entity that you’ve seen but haven’t met up close before just playing music, and then everything goes dark and you die.
Unless your markiplier and it turns over to 6am!

@@FutileStruggleofaBoulderit was calming in 1993 (fnaf 1) when the lights went out it would be used to calm kids so nothing bad would happen like panic and since its used in the game I guess it used to calm the night gaurd but since its michael afton it brings him back flashbacks he didnt want thats why he gets scared during the theme how do you think phone guy was calm in night 4 message (at least for a little)

Back in 2014 we all just stared in fear, shaking, waiting. Freddy knew we were terrified and looked right into our soul as he played our soon to be death.

Scott needs to go back and update the old games. Id really love to see a gameplay mechanic that involves a flashlight that allows you to try and keep freddy from killing you for just a little bit longer. His song should alway fully play, even past 6am. Since you cant see the clock it would be cool if it was more of a reveal than the song just getting cut off a 6
