Hello y'all!! Episode 3 has finally been reuploaded, and Episode 7 is on its way tomorrow!! Thank you so much for hanging in there with us!! 🥰😍😇 Episode 3 [REUPLOAD]: ruclips.net/video/Fd7EWe2g5V0/видео.html Full Playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLT4zSPMBAGjv9gykx5keA36fUb3foC6_o
His sister recognized that he was owning his own truth (living with his man and all) and was happy for him. His family knows he's gay. Even Paul did. Sis is happy, he's happy. Mom... not so much.
Louis loves the opera. Not to the level of Lestat, but he does love it. He wouldn't put up with the vallet part otherwise. He lied to his family about the opera years back because it seemed too 'queer' for him to like it and he was still hiding it then.
One thing about Daniel's monologue at the end is he's pointing out that if you love someone you shouldn't want them to change out of shame. Louis' reservation as a killer, his humanity, is what made him special, and if Lestat loved Louis properly then he shouldn't have wanted him to change that.
I also think like that. The apartment, the staffs, and the admin are not Louis style. It's more Lestat or Marius's style. The admin said he serve god. And I think he means Lestat. Louis won't claim himself as god
@@radovanzweihander6012 I actually think its Armand's apartment based on the severe aesthetic. There are stolen paintings in there. There is only one of them who steals whatever he wants. And Armand and Louis are into real estate.
What if Lestat walks in the last episode and Daniel is like "omg! You're that famous 80's rockstar!" and Lestat is like "yes I am. Let me tell you all about it."
When Louie is finally coming around in the beginning of the ep I wish that Lestat had said like in the book “stop looking at my buttons”. It’s the one silly line I remember from the book
I'm excited for episode 3! :D Wait, your sister either forgot or missed something from the first episode - Louis loved the opera they went to, he just pretended he got hungry and left so that his family wouldn't think he's 'sensitive' while in reality, he was crying by the end. :X I think Lestat had been holding that "YOU'RE A KILLER, LOUIS" in for about 6 years, tbh
This isn't much of a spoiler so I think it's safe to note - Lestat is actually massively wealthy when he meets Louis. It's just that in IWTV, Louis is talking shit about him and painting him as a freeloader because he's not ready to admit how much they loved each other. When Lestat was forced to become a vampire, he was left a lot of wealth.
My take on people not seeing blood (like on Lestat's sleeves or on the sheet music) is it is probably some sort of vampire mind trick where the people can't see 'the bad stuff' (such as their fangs or blood or whatever) until the vampires let them see it (usually right before they're killed).
i've become so obsessed with this show and also wish i could just binge watch all the eps right now. waiting for each ep on sundays is torture 😭 but i just finished ep 3 and it was so good! the eps just keep getting better n better. can't wait to see your reaction to it! and yess louis is so gorgeous i love him 😫
Yes, we got so spoiled with being able to binge a season in one day on Netflix, it is torture to wait weekly and then for us advance watchers it's even worst!
Loving this series but more importantly: An Elisabeth clip! Normally more of an opera gay but that is my favourite musical. Have seen it a couple of times in Vienna. Once at the Volksoper and a concert performance just this summer at Schönbrunn. First time I was like 'This is the most Viennese thing I have ever seen.'
This show is so awesome this is definitely might be my favorite show of the whole year and that Includes House of the Dragon 🤯🙌, also Episode 3 is already out on AMC+ , if you have AMC+ you get the episodes one week in advance ! 👍 🙌🧛🦇
"I no longer kill." "Because I ate my nephew!" 🤣 TBH, Lestat taking Louis to the opera as a reward for Louis is kinda like Homer giving Marge a bowling ball with his own name on it. I really enjoy your reactions. Love how giddy you get.
💭I know all those sudden changes had to be hard on Louis... *He was use to working/or having businesses to provide for his family., *He was still in the city where he grew up, and his family was still in the area too., / They love each other, but Louis was basically forced into the relationship!...🤷🏽♀
I get the impression that Daniel is a pan man that presents as masculine and (between binary Gender perspective) leaned more into dating women/feminine people than men in his older years. My theory is that he conflates being a junkie with being gay (I’m guessing he would have called himself gay at the time), Hense he was at the gay bar to begin with.
He might just associate gay bars with drugs, and avoid gay bars after that and then after he got married to a woman didn't need to find other partners? But yeah, agreed that Daniel is with the alphabet mafia. :) Anyway, I though Daniel was bi, and I think it's people's biphobia speaking when they get upset at a bi person dating someone not of the same gender because if they don't see the bisexuality in action it's not real? Bi/pan people are still bi or pan whether they're dating anyone, or someone of any gender. Like the to do around Kit Connor possibly dating a girl, which was called queer baiting by idiots. Like, what did they think bi meant?
I watch this show with my sister too so I'm especially enjoying your sibling dynamic in these reaction videos. My sister and I both love horror movies, TV shows, etc. as well.
You twined the contacts. I thought the same till I saw a instragram reel with a guy talking about pumpkins sprouting throughout his whole backyard that had eyes exactly like Lestats. It was in natural light and no cgi. I was dumbfounded!
TBH, I was thinking that this was the Lestat from the other books, not the first, but the more I re-watch these two episodes (and it's a lot), I think they're giving us a completely new Lestat, with undertones of the other. Watching the church scene again, I fully believe now that if Louis would have said 'No' or 'I need time to think about it', THIS Lestat would have given him time for the latter answer and would have let him live for the former. He'd still pursue him and try to convince him, but I don't see this Lestat killing Louis. The one from the book and movie would have. But because this one got to know Louis for month, insteadof biting him the first night they met then turning him the second night), I believe he actually does love him and wouldn't intentionally hurt him. That's why I think they're together now and Lestat just went night shopping in Rome or sommat. They got back together after the sometime in the last 40 years, hence why Louis is so chill. (He's with his boo. 😁)
@@_k_n_ it really is. That would be an amazing twist!! I'm also ready for my baby Armand! 🖤 As a mother his story just hits different and he deserves all the hugs... Little psychopath that he is. Lol
Well, I thought it was a very nice choice!!!! Lestat turning Louis at the alter in a Catholic church!!!!! To profess his love at the Alter of the the church, like a marriage.... I was blown away!
Daniel, in the book was about 24 when the interview took place in 1973 and he didn’t appear again till book 3. But, that was only 10 years later in the mid 80s. I don think they will give Daniel the same story here. If you read bk 3, you know what happens to him.
So Louis was always an unreliable narrator in Interview with a Vampire, his account of Lestat being poor a gold digger was contradicted by Lestat who was also an unreliable narrator in The Vampire Lestat. The show is using the unreliable narrator trope in their own way

getting cute aggression over louis is sooo real
I love that it isnt all angst, toxicity, and epic declarations. We get to see cuteness and bickering and I really enjoy that.
Yup. I totally believe that Lestat will pop up at the end of the interview. Like he's been traveling and his midnight plane just landed.

Yes. I'm sure Lestat has been rehearsing saying that to Louis.
JuBeeLi, Think about what Louis said about Lestat?... "He had a way about him." In other words, Lestat got some serious GAME!

@11:30 - Lestat had money tho. Louis just assumed he was a pathetic user. It Louis being an adorable, pyro, dramatic, unreliable narrator

He does you just have to wait for it.
