Fantastic looking kit with great potential for the 3.0T! When I saw this vid pop up my immediate thought was to hold off on my current plan to upgrade from my current B8 S4 with the CAKA 3.0 to a C7.5 RS6 and go for this kit. But as my car doesn't see any more than around 6k miles a year I can't justify the cost to go all out and modify it from stage 2 to 3. Wish this kit was available a couple of years ago! Can't wait to see it available as a complete kit with matching tunes to see what it puts out on peoples cars. The current stage 2 tunes available for the 3.0T are fantastic and hold it's own against many much more powerful cars - this stage 3 setup looks to be an Audi RS/BMW M/Merc AMG killer! I'm sure the likes of MRC and APR will be watching with interest and we'll see them offering tuning packages at some point here in the UK. Thanks again for all the hard work and keeping interest in the 3.0T alive!
Nice video wish you guys can compare the OEM Supercharger with the MERC the difference sizes the pulleys the design the percentages of differences in sizes the benefits cooling Structural design
Great vids man! Always watch your tutorials before wrenching on my S4 with a 3.0T. Did you ever do a vid on the upper timing covers? Mine are leaking and seems like it can’t be done without the motor or tranny out. There’s three bolts on the aluminum shield over the Combi valve attached to the timing chain covers and the lower ones are impossible to reach because the cats are in the way. Dealership wants 7k to apply $8 tube of rvt silicone. Could be a great DIY vid!
Supercharger is gorgeous. I extremely interested in. Ill ask the question here. Will/does it fit 3.0TFSI CREH motor? 17 A7 C7.5. I believe somewhere in the video there was a statement about face lift models. Pls let me know, thanks.
No, you don't have to. Just know whenever you upgrade your mounts the engine will sit higher which may bring the supercharger closer to your hood until the mounts settle. Jackal doesn't have a file for the supercharger yet, but that's not to say they won't develop one if a customer buys it and works with them
Having both a 16 B8.5 and a 14 W204 C63, I'm very curious to see if they are the same design as VRP's new Gen 4 for the W204 C63 (Aka M156/6.2 N/a powered). I want to do both of them :)
Does this kit bolt onto the C7 directly? I am brand new to the group and just got my audi a week ago, ive been binging these videos and am still trying to figure out if i have a c7 or c7.5. regardless I am trying to figure out every piece of info to make this car as badass as possible while taking every precaution and preliminary step. Kind of diverged there, so back to the og question, is this compatible with the c7? I am going to do the four crucial upgrades from that " four necessary upgrades" video before anything else too.
just checked and it is a press on for sure, so glad. I watched your other video on the first four preliminary steps/mods to do before nay performance upgrades and those are what i will be attending to first. then this baby once all my foundation is set.@@AudiC7Owners
I've seen this at least 2 years ago. The cost was also going to be something astronomical, so I wrote it off immediately. From what I remember, APR had a supercharger upgrade right at the beginning of the platform that was canned because the 3.0 supercharged Audi engines need to be built to withstand more than 550hp. Stock internals will fail above that. It doesn't make financial sense to push these cars past 500hp. There are better cars in the Audi lineup that offer more return on investment.
That is all completely false. These engines can handle 700whp. Fueling is the restriction and APR gave up on it because they couldn't make fast money on it without reveling a fueling fix.

I can’t wait to see more! Jose is awesome! Maybe one day I’ll have the opportunity to purchase it myself.
The intercooler cores was what I was most curious about. Glad to hear that Jose is also considering a replacement for stock cores too
Hell yeah, really excited to see all the content to come on this setup
Love seeing the detail that went into this unit I now understand the pricing better what an amazing setup great job Merc Racing!
One question does everything shown come with the kit including the throttle body and hoses?
Tb no, hoses yes
To see Jose explain his creation is amazing
Nice video wish you guys can compare the OEM Supercharger with the MERC the difference sizes the pulleys the design the percentages of differences in sizes the benefits cooling
Structural design
Can’t wait to see more!
Great looking kit! Anxious to get our hands on one 😁 Good job guys!
Thank you! 🙌🏼
This is too good. Love the innovation for the platform.
Can't wait for this crazy built 🔥🔥💯
Beautiful supercharger can’t wait for the numbers, is it available to buy?
Yes it is. Check the pinned comment for a link
Great video! I stand behind Merc Racing Products.
💪🏼💪🏼
Thanks for the video and thumbs up to Mr. Mercado. So if and when this comes available for CREC engines my car will be paid off by 2026😃

I don't have one for that, but if you remove the false firewall in the engine bay you should be able to do it
Golden
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 can’t wait 😝
Those bleeder valves are the same ones on the radiators in your home heating system. Says this 25 year master Plumber .😂
Excitiiing

Unfortunately it is not compatible with CREC engines
Awesome. What amount boost will be available?
We will release data like that once the tune is finished
Great vid. Good to see Merc Racing on the channel. Can this be adapted to 2018 A7 crec facelift?
Unfortunately no. Crec development might happen after this one is done
I assume the blower will have a return line ready for the PCV relocation?
Yes. That will be covered in the install video
To clarify, do you need to update the oem engine mounts and assume the jackel programming is compatible?
No, you don't have to. Just know whenever you upgrade your mounts the engine will sit higher which may bring the supercharger closer to your hood until the mounts settle.
Jackal doesn't have a file for the supercharger yet, but that's not to say they won't develop one if a customer buys it and works with them
How will our transmission handle the horse power gain? I've got 2012 a6 stage 2 catless with the transmission tune
It can handle over 700whp

Will the new pulley wear out belts faster? What’s the average belt life vs one with the new pulley? Thanks
Shouldn't see any difference in belt life as it won't be slipping.
Betting on ___ HP out of this bad boy! 😂🎉

This bolts onto a C7, but not a C7.5.
What year is your car?
@@AudiC7Owners mine is a 2015, s line, quattro, all that bs lol
im pretty sure its a press on pulley so its a c7...
just checked and it is a press on for sure, so glad. I watched your other video on the first four preliminary steps/mods to do before nay performance upgrades and those are what i will be attending to first. then this baby once all my foundation is set.@@AudiC7Owners
Yep. If it's a press on supercharger pulley then it is a C7
Sounds good man thank you! Shit is siiickk
That's only a 2.1 ration on that pulley with stock crank ..so quiet a bit of headroom ...What boost has it been running on testing ?
But we aren't using it on a stock crank. It's on a 191mm crank. So we are at a 2.5 ratio which is still conservative for this blower.
👍
I’m looking to buy a s4 b5 would this bolt on fit?
No. Completely different engine
will this supercharger be installed on your car?
Already is
1.9 liter 🫠we need a 4.0 whipple
Whipple already tried to make a blower for the 3.0t
9 grand ! 😮

would it bolt on to a cre?
There is not a CREC option available yet
power goals?? mabe you said it mabe i missed it🤷♂️
They only made 10 or these correct ?
I think more. But they are made to order
Dyno results will show us if its worth 9k
I'm more concerned about 1/4 mile times
