That's a pretty ignorant comment, lots of people in China know how to play basketball b/c of the popularity of the NBA in the country, it's only that the players are less athletic and physical as players in the US.
It's easy to see why Yi can't become a superstar in NBA. Different from Yao, Yi cannot make a chance himself. Most of the shoots here are made when there are nobody around him!
I like Yao but i thing Yi is better than Him cause His Range 7 Foot atletism his weight just 200 pound and the thing make Yi survive for a long time is His Dunker, Bloker, 3 pointer, Rebounder, quikness and his age still young but remember good player will never playing in the good team, thats the Deal and fairplay.

他確實有他防守的功力
其实我个人觉得易建联 打的不错 只是姚明的光辉把他盖住了 上场22分钟 平均8 分 5.6 篮板 其实是个不错的数据 别忘了他不是球星 大部分时间是替补
易建联的实力绝对是nba级别的，没立足nba问题出在更衣室，他如果有姚明的性格早打出来了。

實話說阿聯雖然是虛報年齡但應該是內部運作…他當年絕對有能力在NBA站穩腳步…只是缺點太內斂…NBA這種最高等級的比賽都是汰弱留強…你不放手去衝時間不等人的(每年都有一大堆高質新秀…)害羞不能融入這個是致命的…可惜了
