The whole conclusion from 09:15 - 10:25 made me cry, with no shame. It brought me back the melancholy of when I first watched this film all those years ago and made me release that all along I knew what the message of the film was subconsciously, but I could never really could explain in words. It makes me thing about the current plans I have in my own life and how going for them is something that will be worth it to me. You really only have so much time left in your life and you got to live for your dreams instead of just hoping they'll appear. I found this channel through the everything great about Jojolion video, and I honestly couldn’t believe I was seeing this film for any reason again, thanks for reminding me it exists, and thank you for reminding me that it’s one of the best animated films ever released

Perfect Blue may be my favorite Satoshi Kon film, but Millennium Actress is his best work. It is visually and thematically beautiful.
