Bassitt was superhuman today. Cannot imagine pro pitchers staying in after getting hit by a ball from Judge in their dominant arm. They're too scared of injuries. This guy though.... :D

Bassitt is a legend. He got his face smashed in by a comebacker in 2021 and was back on the field in six weeks. Wish we still had him on the Mets.

Looks like ironically IKF is now a Yankee killer and I remember back when he was with Yankees. I'm conflicted with this loss, I didn't expect Yankees to get much of anything against Bassit anyway but I'm' impressed with how he did after that comebacker line drive on his arm. Part of me doesn't mind too much that Yankees lost this game and I'm still happy they had some life going yesterday to win even if it was just 1 game to break their losing streak I guess, but losing 5 series in a row if they lose tomorrow is definitely not good. (And I have to wonder how did vladdy make contact with that ball I mean that was ridiculous)

@@Rye-jl2fk I was just saying like a joke but I remember him not being all that good for Yankees anyway, but I've also noticed not just IKF like sometimes some other Yankees players are completely different when they leave.
When that happened I said to myself, they should have kept IKF and got rid of Rizzo....you see why now lol.
@@MKF30 IKF's normal regular position isn't first base though just like it wasn't with shortstop when he was with Yankees and made lots of errors, though I'm not one to know now how he's been doing defensively lately with the Jays.

That's what this team was built to do. When the offense actually clicks they should be winning 2 outta 3
there big 3 (springer, vlady and bo) have been worse then every other teams best 3 as a whole this season..until recently. the fact that they are only 4/5 games under .500 is actually quite impressive

Hard to believe they spend enormous amounts of money and they start a cleanup hitter batting 240. And as you go down the lineup some of them are batting less than 240.

@@notafanboy250 hopefully we make some moves and get better. we just have to start winning again easier said than done. and it's crazy I'm saying that because we have made winning look easy for the first two months. June comes and we have gone in a slump. hopefully we get this thing rolling again.

I think I am correct that the Yankees have not won a series since taking 3 of 4 in Kansas City about two weeks ago, they are really struggling, I hope they can turn this around soon.

They need to work on that pitching staff, all these starters have looked sus recently. Those coaches can't be doing their jobs.
Please get rid of Schneider, Kirk and Clement. I understand Kirk had a good game but he lacks consistency and doesn't run well. Horowitz should be batting and so should Jansen. I also like Barger, he's a young powerful kid who has a lot of potential.
