    Yeah I hear that myth sometimes too that casino's "rig their machines", but just thinking through it, you can debunk that. This might sound counter intuitive, but casinos actually like when a player wins, obviously not all the time, but occasionally. It's good for business, it draws people in, when someone gets a jackpot. Rigging the machines would be too risky, open to exploits, could lose license if caught and as you say lead to angry customers who will talk about how "tight" the machines are. It is actually in the financial interest of the casino to NOT rig the machine.

      Does the fact corruption is rampant in all countries change your opinion slightly.
      People are bribed everyday so why wouldn't a casino bribe the individual the State put in their Casino (by law) to watch over Casino practices be any different?
      For one to think the only place of business in the whole world immune to unscrupulous individuals is a CASINO. It sounds ridiculous right?

    • @dragonore2009

      @@CraiglistErd Except a casino has too much to lose. If there gaming license is revoked there entire business goes under. There is just way too much to risk for this small gain. The casino and the state official would have to do this in such secret with such precision to avoid the independent bodies that run test on the slots to see if it is still fair play. The amount of coordination and strings that would need to be pulled to have this flawless operation ran without anyone noticing is just way too unbelievable. Again a casino has much more to lose and it simply isn't financially good option to rig machines. It is actually in the financial interest of the casino to NOT rig machines.

      I would argue that any casino game that doesn’t have perfect 50/50 odds is rigged (aka every single casino game outside of counting cards in blackjack which is rigged in the players advantage)

      They’re legally allowed to rig in their advantage but that number is capped by the state. Usually around 75%-90% of the money that goes in machine is paid out to players.

    This is taught to players to keep the real fix in secret to give the casinos an even bigger advantage. Any player who has been doing this for years knows that the casinos have more control now than ever. Some places are not worth even going into the settings are so tight. The only problem is you have to try a place before you play. I agree the casinos do not rig the machines they only change the pay out at times , it is still in their favor but they have to do things to create addicts.

    I've heard the RTP is for the life of the machine and really has little influence on any given spin. So, if the RTP is 94%, it is for the years the game is played not any particluar round played by a player on any given day. Is this true?

    But on the new digital slot machines I think the algorithm first decides if/how much you win and after that randomly set the graphics right? Because all of those the close to win - spins. And for example if you have low balance on the machine it nearly always tries to tease you with 2 scatters or whatever

    7:54 what the **** does "% 10" mean in these equations? Why does 4.71 round down to 4? This is confusing

    • @weimontero
      @weimontero 3 года назад +1

      Means the remainder, 4%10 has a result of 0 and 4 in the remainder. Similar 47%10 is 47/10 which is 4 and a remainder of 7. The reason of rounding 4.71 to 4 is because what its called the Floor Function(those weird brackets without the top thing) this function rounds any float number to the closest lower integer. Regards

    Every video talks about r.n.g but if they have to pay out around 90 percent then the numbers cant be all that random.

    • @Nightenstaff
      @Nightenstaff 3 года назад +2

      The RNG is real, the game rules is where the 90% return comes in to play. It's all statistics. They can calculate how much the rules of the game will return to the player after millions of plays. For example, let's say if you pay me $1 and I'll let you flip a coin three times. If it comes up heads all three times, I'll pay you $10. The math says to get heads three times in a row happens about 12.5% of the time. If I want to make more money, I can just change the rules of the game -- now you have to get heads four times in a row. That only happens about 6.25% of the time. The coin flip is still random, but the conditions for winning are now dramatically more in my favor. Hope that helps!

      @@Nightenstaff This explains "random" perfectly, and believe me, they can and do change the rules or payouts.. If you play weekends in a crowded casino your chances of winning are less, this is when the casino's make all their money, they keep more of it for obvious reasons.. if you play at a casino that has been remodeled in the last 10 years you're playing against a house that has FULL control of each of the 1000's of machines using hi speed computers.

    I always thought that if someone just won a jackpot, you shouldn't play on it because the slot machine no longer has enough coins inside it to payout the jackpot, so it won't give you a jackpot. I mean, it has to check if it has enough money inside to make payouts, right? Referring to physical/mechanical ones.

    slot machine is not random when using player card. I try many time when using my card I can't hit any free spin but change to my friend player card then can see a lot of free spin .Then change to my card again all dead spin. No matter which machine I changing the result are the same. Some day I lose $300 and change the machine then I hit free spin return me $300 back and then suck money again. Then change to other machine return my money back again. I believe that the casino use player card for tracking especially now new casino use server system.

Back in the late 2000s, sometimes I didn't use my card when I played them since I figured I might do better at them that way, but it didn't help. Hi my name is Raj Barot and I m from India i just wanted to know why every time when i bet in roulette i lose my bet continuesly, some time I feel like that they cheat on me. So can u help me??

    • @CasinoGuruTube
      @CasinoGuruTube  4 года назад

      Hi Raj, it depends on what type of bet you make on the roulette. If you bet on single numbers, you have very low chance of winning. For example on American roulette, you have 36 numbers, 0 and double 0. That's 38 possible results. If you bet on a single number, you should theoretically win 1 spin of 38, but in reality, you can be simply unlucky and you can lose 100+ spins in a row. I've seen this many times that some numbers "got frozen".
      Do you play the roulette with live dealers or run by a computer? We can try to test it if you send us a link. Regards, Daniel.

      Most of this video is educated guesswork and little more. There is no such thing in any gambling business as _"just randomness"_ - the very first thing your spin does is check a very non-random "current profit" margin. You don't need to understand how these machines work to know a slot machine that has just paid a jackpot does not give you an equal chance of repeating that win on the very next spin.
