Nice!! I’m actually at the visitor center right now about to head back to the same campsite. We decided to just stay in that site for two nights and do day hikes from there this time. Should be easier! 🤷♂️
@clintzeller That's good to hear. I'm about to purchase a light weight tent and want to make sure the stakes will work. How close was the actual rim to the campsite? It seems pretty close.
@michaelmartinez2353 It was close to the rim. I’d say 200-300 feet. I would bring at least a couple extra stakes just to be safe. You can get them for a dollar a piece at Walmart.

I stayed at the pinnacle's 2 campsite this weekend. I was so glad to take my pack off. That is a rough trail and I was carried about 54 pounds.
