If you watch their wedding vows there Stephanie has said how her husband was working 3 jobs at a time to make a living and how he bought her, her first mic and stuff. I think he is now doing well in his job and somewhere he said he is into stocks and trading now I'm not sure tho. I have been watching her since 2018 and I'm so happy for her growth she deserves all of it. My day feels empty without her videos now😂❤

I feel like she is the only true crime channel I have seen that has ALL the details, or almost all of them. Her and her team deserve MORE money if anything!

She makes sure she gets the story right with the credible sources, and as others said, she donates and encourages her viewers to check the link(to donate), she's even talked to family victims and helps them resurface old cases that haven't gotten justice yet. I think that's why many actual like her videos because she's empathetic and does it with the most respect
She is arguably one of the most deserving influencers. I have been subscribed to her on RUclips since 2018-2019, and remember listening to the very first BAM and Rotten Mango episode. She always seems so incredibly grateful of everything she has, and she is an amazing storyteller. Also, they didn't move to NYC, they have their main house in Atlanta and an apartment in NYC that they frequently visit.

These estimates won't take into account expensives of course, she has a pretty large team of researchers, translators and editors from what it seems, but I'm really happy for her. It's clear how much effort and time she puts into all of her content, posting hours of content every week and always being willing to correct herself or pull content when she realises she's been misinformed on a topic, always aiming to advocate for underrepresented communities and treat everyone with empathy and consideration. She truly deserves her success

The fact that people are forgetting that she also have to pay (and bonus etc) her translators and researchers teams and moreover for editing these long videos you've to invest a lot of time so obv she would've hired someone. I've done freelance editing and it does generate a good sum of money. Apart from that, sitting down with dedication to record videos of more an hour long is not less of a labour. And it's not like America is inexpensive so there are definitely bills. Handling RM is one of the hardest thing, no amount of money could compensate going through such level of trauma and dark side of world. The fact that I have to take a break from RM once in a while because I just couldn't handle the amount of stress while listening to the podcast and we all know Stephanie is a very emotional and sensitive person but she still keeps on going on because ain't no way money is that BIG of a motivator to put your sanity on line so obviously she LOVES storytelling and she surely have a talent in remembering the whole stuff and explain. In the end I would say she's very kind and compassionate person who DOESN'T exploits and deserve every single penny she makes. So after all this we can say Stephanie or neither us are even close enough to be called chaebol.

I LOVE all her channels and I’m a 56 year old black woman. She is so relatable, humble, and down to earth. Her wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful and I was crying happy tears. Crazy, right??? Her anonymous husband is a nice addition in her videos. I even tell Korean people that I meet to check out her RUclips channels. It’s very obvious that a lot of research and work go into her videos. this is coming from someone who knew her (through a friend) before her fame. she was wealthy (not rols royce wealthy but had designer bags wealthy) before but because she and her then boyfriend (now husband) fucking HUSTLED. they worked their ASSES off before the youtube channel. when i met her and her bf at the time, he was never off his phone because he was constantly working (not in a rude way but a hey sorry i gotta take this call way). pretty sure he was working a full time job AND doing like other side gigs with investments and trying to find any other streams of income. she also packed his lunch everyday/constantly made home cooked meals to save money and i rarely saw them spend money on anything beyond what was exactly necessary. i lost contact with her but im glad to see her succeed. she’s very sweet irl and acts like herself in her vids. i used to hope she would live a little (at the time) because they were SO frugal, even though i knew they made good money (good enough to at least get a nice dinner here or there…which i rarely saw them do at the time) but im glad it’s paid off for them!

She actually deserves it though. The amount of work and research that goes into all of Stephanie’s videos is no easy feat. So many “RUclipsrs” or “content creators” will put a few minutes into a video and still get the same amount of views as Stephanie. People will bring up how she lives in a million dollar home, but she’s been saving for years. Judging someone on their house isn’t necessarily a good move. It’s like how someone will save up to travel to different countries, buy a new car, buy expensive concert tickets and merch, etc. She stays humble and doesn’t flaunt her wealth. And the way she tells stories is definitively a gift that she should make money off of.

I discovered Stephanie in 2022 and I honestly don't remember how I spent my days without listening to her before that. My mom even calls her my best friend aince I'm always listening to her. She totally deserves all the money she's earning. She's so humble, ao creative, so funny and ao hardworking. The preparation behind each video is crazy, especially the rotten mango videos. She provides details and information that you hardly can find alone. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts but none of them is well researched like Stephanie's. Not to mention how well she tells the stories. She has a talent kf story telling and she used it very well. Congrats to her and her husband. That personal story she told of her and Rui Quan's fight is literally the funniest newlywed story I have ever heard. He loves her. He knows her well. He takes care of her....❤ She is close to her family. Bless her in everything she does. I think she works really hard. I also remember her telling her audience how Rui helped her get her finances in order before they got married. It sounds like they value what they have made. With Rotten Mango, she says she does a lot of that research herself. Ans yes she has a lot of help since some of the stories come from other countries. Stephanie is one of the most hard-working youtubers I've ever seen and I've been consuming yt content ever since 2014. I've seen so many "hotshots" come and go but the work and dedication Steph, her husband, and her current team of researchers have put into their videos is commendable. She's super respectful and listens to her community avidly and honestly, that's often the only thing you need to grow a loyal fanbase, hardwork and sincerity.
I started listening to her podcast around two years ago. I was trying to improve my English listening skill that time and I heard that listening to English podcasts daily is the fastest way to improve. So I tried with SO MANY different podcasters, but I only found myself repeatedly clicking on the rewind button because I couldn’t catch what was being said. Listening to podcast wasn’t even something that I enjoy, so I basically forced myself to do it. It was months of self-inflicted stress and frustration 😭 Then, came Stephanie Soo’s podcast. I was a bit skeptical to click on her podcast at first. A lot of people I personally knew didn’t really have a pleasant opinion of her so, without enough research, I was naturally leaning on that side of the spectrum too. However, RUclips kept recommending her videos every day, so I decided to just give it a try. Just a few minutes in and I instantly fell in love with her storytelling. There was something about how she weaved her story that made me stay. I never had to press rewind or skipped her videos like what I usually did with other podcasts. Her stories were so rich in details too. What used to be a stressful and frustrating study session for me had now turned into an enjoyable listening time that I looked forward to every day. After a few months listening to her podcast (only), I decided to try listening to other podcasters again, and I realized that my head could finally ‘catch’ English words easily since then. I guess Stephanie’s way of speaking unlocked something in my brain. It was a bit funny that time because English (without English subtitles) felt like another language to me. But now, it sounds like… English 😂 Now, I have paused from listening to her podcast because I want to wait until more stories get uploaded so that I could binge listen to it while working and doing house chores 😂

Ever since she created 2 podcasts (now 3, with a separate one for RM vids), I mostly spend time listening to her content on spotify. The amount of time and energy she put on the research is truly admirable and continuously getting better with the help of the growing team she has. The highlight of every content she posts is definitely her talent in story-telling. Of course, 3 YT channels aren't easy to manage either. Thank goodness she has Jane and Stefan now. I've been binged watching both her main YT channels ever since 2019 (watched her with my other YT acc back then), and she totally deserves the amount of wealth she has accumulated up until now.

The fact that people are forgetting that she also have to pay (and bonus etc) her translators and researchers teams and moreover for editing these long videos you've to invest a lot of time so obv she would've hired someone. I've done freelance editing and it does generate a good sum of money.
Apart from that, sitting down with dedication to record videos of more an hour long is not less of a labour. And it's not like America is inexpensive so there are definitely bills.
Handling RM is one of the hardest thing, no amount of money could compensate going through such level of trauma and dark side of world. The fact that I have to take a break from RM once in a while because I just couldn't handle the amount of stress while listening to the podcast and we all know Stephanie is a very emotional and sensitive person but she still keeps on going on because ain't no way money is that BIG of a motivator to put your sanity on line so obviously she LOVES storytelling and she surely have a talent in remembering the whole stuff and explain.
In the end I would say she's very kind and compassionate person who DOESN'T exploits and deserve every single penny she makes. So after all this we can say Stephanie or neither us are even close enough to be called chaebol.

I LOVE all her channels and I’m a 56 year old black woman. She is so relatable, humble, and down to earth. Her wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful and I was crying happy tears. Crazy, right??? Her anonymous husband is a nice addition in her videos. I even tell Korean people that I meet to check out her RUclips channels. It’s very obvious that a lot of research and work go into her videos. she was wealthy (not rols royce wealthy but had designer bags wealthy) before but because she and her then boyfriend (now husband) fucking HUSTLED. they worked their ASSES off before the youtube channel.
when i met her and her bf at the time, he was never off his phone because he was constantly working (not in a rude way but a hey sorry i gotta take this call way). pretty sure he was working a full time job AND doing like other side gigs with investments and trying to find any other streams of income. she also packed his lunch everyday/constantly made home cooked meals to save money and i rarely saw them spend money on anything beyond what was exactly necessary.
i lost contact with her but im glad to see her succeed. she’s very sweet irl and acts like herself in her vids. i used to hope she would live a little (at the time) because they were SO frugal, even though i knew they made good money (good enough to at least get a nice dinner here or there…which i rarely saw them do at the time) but im glad it’s paid off for them!

She actually deserves it though. The amount of work and research that goes into all of Stephanie’s videos is no easy feat. So many “RUclipsrs” or “content creators” will put a few minutes into a video and still get the same amount of views as Stephanie. People will bring up how she lives in a million dollar home, but she’s been saving for years. Judging someone on their house isn’t necessarily a good move. It’s like how someone will save up to travel to different countries, buy a new car, buy expensive concert tickets and merch, etc. She stays humble and doesn’t flaunt her wealth. And the way she tells stories is definitively a gift that she should make money off of.

I discovered Stephanie in 2022 and I honestly don't remember how I spent my days without listening to her before that.
My mom even calls her my best friend aince I'm always listening to her. She totally deserves all the money she's earning. She's so humble, ao creative, so funny and ao hardworking. The preparation behind each video is crazy, especially the rotten mango videos. She provides details and information that you hardly can find alone. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts but none of them is well researched like Stephanie's. Not to mention how well she tells the stories. That personal story she told of her and Rui Quan's fight is literally the funniest newlywed story I have ever heard. He loves her. He knows her well. He takes care of her....❤ She is close to her family. Bless her in everything she does. I think she works really hard. I also remember her telling her audience how Rui helped her get her finances in order before they got married. It sounds like they value what they have made. With Rotten Mango, she says she does a lot of that research herself. Ans yes she has a lot of help since some of the stories come from other countries. Stephanie is one of the most hard-working youtubers I've ever seen and I've been consuming yt content ever since 2014. I've seen so many "hotshots" come and go but the work and dedication Steph, her husband, and her current team of researchers have put into their videos is commendable. She's super respectful and listens to her community avidly and honestly, that's often the only thing you need to grow a loyal fanbase, hardwork and sincerity.
I started listening to her podcast around two years ago. I was trying to improve my English listening skill that time and I heard that listening to English podcasts daily is the fastest way to improve. So I tried with SO MANY different podcasters, but I only found myself repeatedly clicking on the rewind button because I couldn’t catch what was being said. Listening to podcast wasn’t even something that I enjoy, so I basically forced myself to do it. It was months of self-inflicted stress and frustration 😭
Then, came Stephanie Soo’s podcast. I was a bit skeptical to click on her podcast at first. A lot of people I personally knew didn’t really have a pleasant opinion of her so, without enough research, I was naturally leaning on that side of the spectrum too. However, RUclips kept recommending her videos every day, so I decided to just give it a try.
Just a few minutes in and I instantly fell in love with her storytelling. There was something about how she weaved her story that made me stay. I never had to press rewind or skipped her videos like what I usually did with other podcasts. Her stories were so rich in details too. What used to be a stressful and frustrating study session for me had now turned into an enjoyable listening time that I looked forward to every day.
After a few months listening to her podcast (only), I decided to try listening to other podcasters again, and I realized that my head could finally ‘catch’ English words easily since then. I guess Stephanie’s way of speaking unlocked something in my brain. It was a bit funny that time because English (without English subtitles) felt like another language to me. But now, it sounds like… English 😂
Now, I have paused from listening to her podcast because I want to wait until more stories get uploaded so that I could binge listen to it while working and doing house chores 😂
they're truly some of the most humble youtubers. and even when they do talk about the expenses they make, ie trips and houses they bought, they always try not to brag

Ever since she created 2 podcasts (now 3, with a separate one for RM vids), I mostly spend time listening to her content on spotify. The amount of time and energy she put on the research is truly admirable and continuously getting better with the help of the growing team she has. The highlight of every content she posts is definitely her talent in story-telling.
Of course, 3 YT channels aren't easy to manage either. Thank goodness she has Jane and Stefan now. I've been binged watching both her main YT channels ever since 2019 (watched her with my other YT acc back then), and she totally deserves the amount of wealth she has accumulated up until now.
