- This is a vintage keyboard from the early 90s with a very nice 80s mellow tones. There are 30 basic presets (including the drumset) and you have the "tone bank" ability to mix the two tones and make some rich sounding patterns.
Wow my first musical keyboard was a Casio back in the 1980s. It only had a few instrument sounds. But this one is amazing.
i wonder which model it was.
@@keyhoarder l think it was one of the Casio PT 100 models from the early 80s
@@sailorpluto9914 i know it. Tbh i have "bigger" version of this technology, Casiotone mt 820. I will demo it in the future.
I never get to play these old keyboards in person, as I'm a 2000s kid. But watching your videos are very useful as I get to know how these sound. They seem pretty fun to play on. Thanks a lot.
Thanks. Check out the flea markets, they are usually in quite low prices
I enjoyed pads and bells. Some sounds are very reminiscent of 80s music. Still could be used nowadays - but I think I'd prefer to sample it first and put some effects on top to make it more modern.
@@dwsel yes, this keyboard is a newer version of the ct660 and others from this series, with better quality. Casio advertised it as "CD" quality voices. I also like this mellow, reverbed character of the tones. The "tone bank" layering function is quite useful here
how to sustain effect on this model
no option im afraid
i bought one at 2024 beacuse it is so cheap, only 15 bucks, you cant ask for more
I think total bargain for this price! Better than new noname keyboards and some interesting sounds
