I Put a Waterfalls Terrarium in my Table (Custom Build)

  • I made the terrarium computer desk a few years ago ( • DIY Terrarium Computer... ), which is still one of my favorite projects to date. I had a lot of fun with it and ever since, I've wanted to do something else like it. I just wanted the design to be more refined and elaborate.
However, I've been planning for this specific build since last year and began making in May. There were a few key features I wanted to include in this terrarium table - a waterfall edge, a live edge, a stream, and an actual running waterfall. Deciding how to best construct it, while retaining a beautiful design was difficult, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It's hands down one of my favorite projects I've ever done.

Hi Tanner, I saw this a few days ago the whole video and instantly thought of this same idea but with another similar one; on-one-end-of-eachother creating a desk with obviously a ply wood to divide the two desks but connecting them as one (since it was created as a coffee table). So if you can envision that your enclosed glass terrariums with the water fall effect will be both to the right and left of an elegant office chair.
Not to mention that you can possible sell them for a ton of money

My wife & I were completely transfixed. We actually needed the ad breaks to talk incessantly about this project! 😁👍👍

My man! LOVE to see you sharing my recent passion for woodworking as well in your builds. It's awesome to see the two intertwined. It definitely inspires me to come up with my own creations!

Adding a sort of lamp shade, or fade cap to your LED's will keep the natural appeal. I love this make other wise!

I just want to say that I really appreciate that you show when you make mistakes and how you fix them. I’m a cosplayer, and while it’s a completely different hobby, I make mistakes constantly. I find a lot of inspiration from you to keep going and find a way to fix these mistakes. No matter how much experience you have, you’ll always make mistakes, and sometimes it’s hard to remember that.
Thank you for all that you do, genuinely. You’re incredible.

Wow! Absolutely stunning!!! 🤩This is a gorgeous piece of living functional art. Great job!
ETA: This really is one of the coolest things I’ve ever watched someone make on YT. I remember making a terrarium after watching one of your videos a few years ago. It’s so cool to see you fine tune your craft.
