That Francois is a cool guy. He spoke profoundly of you as a trapper, and articulated your lifestyle in the way that it should forever be viewed...humble and respectful. You see man, good people are drawn to each other.
I think this show is amazing, used to do a small amount of trapping when I was a youngster in the 70s. This takes it to a whole, more serious level. Very good communication skills, explains it all AND with a sense of humor
WOW ! Andrew your definitely everything Francois described. I learn from everyone of your videos & I'm glad I'm still teachable at 54 yrs young ! ! ! Keep up your lifestyle brother your a very good man. Tell Petrena I say hello too ! : )
Andrew I love to see your line. It is so satisfying to take an animal in their habitat. Fox and yotes are our pretators down here and it took a few years to figure them out but they now fall regularly to traps and a few snares.
Andrew, I am thankful you're sharing these episodes on here, they're great! You are the first one I started watching on RUclips years ago and still my favorite. Keep up the good work and good luck on the line! Right on!
Really like the discussion by Francois starting at 6:27. So true. One thing I like about you and several other trappers showcasing their work online is the drive to make a humane and effective kill. And, if things don't go as planned, to rework the set to make it better next time.
Andrew is A SUPER STAR!! first PETRENA now this? Try to keep your head on there SUPER STAR!! Congratulations there trapper. You live a life few MEN could and most wish they could. Your family must be proud.
Andrew, you rock buddy, I am really enjoying the episodes of the show, they're all new to me as I've never seen them before. Cheers my friend and thank you. I totally agree with what that gentleman said about trappers being the biologist's best source for studying animals etc...
im glad you have this show going, im new to "legally" trap, i always been out in the bush since im a kid but people dont know and are ignorant about the nature and the role that trapper have. keep doing it, it is good in all aspect
Right on Andrew. Another outstanding video full of information that serves as education to the next generation. I live in the southeastern US and experience little to no snow on an annual basis. Seeing how you guys depend on annual snowfall to get .your lines up and running just amazes me. I've been following for the past year or so and have referred your vid's to a couple of my buddies to get the word out on your work in the fur industry. Some of the animals you guys harvest are with out a doubt top of the line furbearers and predators. They are beautiful. Wish I could experience running a line like you do for a month or so for the experience of it. Looks like awesome fun disguised as hard work. I always heard if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I can hear it in your voice that you absolutely love what you do and have the utmost respect for the environment you do it in. Best wishes and best of luck to you in your travels on the line. Be safe brother.
awesome episode!! although Andrew i like it when u take the crew on the sheep hunt.. you can tell they get a much higher appreciation of what u do.lol you and yer dad. love the vids man!
Damn Andrew, seems like you got the same kinda luck as me, Murphys Law, sucks don't it, my truck needs a new motor & transmission, one of my ATV's needs new bearings & the other needs a new drive shaft, on top of that someone drove over 5 of my Btidger #3's, flattened them, I ever find ole Murphy I'm gonna strangle em!! Keep your vids coming, love em, tight chains to ya!
Outstanding Video !! Love the Music/ excellent sound What is the tune called at 5:12 ?? 5:40 Luck is the least part of trapping....over 90 % is about Research, Preparation, Personal Trial Error, Patience, and Passion for your work. Nice to hear one video that doesn't have "curse words" ...great educational video to introduce the kids to trapping. Thanks for this
Kanzee I thought so also I am very surprised at how many people complain about the curse words being beeped out then they try to compare fh nwt to trapping tales it is hard to compare thanks for noticing that and pointing it out great comment thanks a bunch
jdob1983 they are not on DVD they use to be on vimeo for buy or rent for download now the only place to view them is here on my youtube channel TheWildNorth
I know it cost you money to be able to put these vids on your channel, so I'll say thank you. Most folks probably don't give it a thought..they just want more more more always more.. and they're in such a hurry for it, they won't even let the adds play...but I'm a 1%er
I trap in northern Minnesota and we aren't allowed to use snares where I trap unless on private land . I am really interested in trying your pen set but I would have to use foot holds . any tips you could give or would be wasting my time
Who's running the camera? Why doesn't he show what Andrews doing inside the pens? Heck, Andrew films himself 10 times better, these guys are amateur compared to Andrew.
Ronnie Verruto Well there are two different producers running the show I the two separate productions. I love that we have two different looks at Andrew.
Henry Culp of course there will be more of my own videos every once in a while I will throw out a fh nwt video though working on trapping tales 2017 pt 4 now
Say my oldest son is a pretty good trapper. Was talking to him a few days ago and he said a good set for wolverine is to put a mirror in the back of the set.Said they think it is another wolverine and attack. Was wondering if you had ever heard of it or tried it.
I cannot do that.I live in Michigan the wolverine state and we have no wolverines here.Just thought to tell you to see if it works. Why not...Just might work !!
That Francois is a cool guy. He spoke profoundly of you as a trapper, and articulated your lifestyle in the way that it should forever be viewed...humble and respectful.
