Hi it’s a very nice tutorial but it would still have been a little better for the viewers if you put the penguin instead of the polar bear. Also what paint do you use??
I use Liquitex heavy body - links to those and the reference photo you can put next to your painting are in the videos description. www.patreon.com/posts/new-tutorial-31898317
It’s hard to follow along with the painting.. especially since the reference photo isn’t free. But the artwork is great and really cute. Thank you for this painting!
There's a way to tip on RUclips. It's the "thanks" button right below the video. If you want to just give me a tip there for the reference with what you can pay, I'll send you the reference once I see your email. Will that work for you?
Thank you for reaching out. My tutorials are not to be used for commercial use. However I think these kids would love this project. If you want to use it for commercial use I ask that you become a Patron here - www.patreon.com/createfulart where I can direct you to the photo reference and send you a copyright permission. I also ask that you credit my channel for the lesson and inspiration.
These paintings are so cute! This tutorial would have been much more effective if you had placed the penguin painting on screen instead of the polar bear. Would have been easier to follow what you were doing.
I'm painting the penguin, so it is on the screen. I didn't use a reference photo to paint this, if that is what you mean. I'm sharing the polar bear because I'm making them match for a series. You can get my painting as a reference to help you and use right next to you while YOU paint right here: www.patreon.com/posts/31898317
Yes take away the polar bear while doing the lesson on the penguin and replace with your finished penguin . Also what comments have been given about the drawing is correct people need to see the outline on the canvas your working on. Only those two helpful comments are important to take on board it's how you have more folk follow your tutorial. Your very good at how your painting and your lesson. Show the polar bear at the end.
Sorry, I didn't have the penguin finished, while I was painting it. I used the polar bear as a reference to copy the style only. You can get the reference photo to put next to yours here - www.patreon.com/posts/new-tutorial-31898317 That's why I always offer the reference photo to members. They can use it to copy the outline and such. I can't change the video, but I can offer bonus content that helps. So that's what I do!
Several times you refer to the previous painting in the series and say, "...just like I did with this one." Unfortunately that doesn't do the viewer a lot of good, from an instructional standpoint, unless they've actually watched that other video. Not super excited to watch a 17 minute video of a project that I'm not going to be painting.
I am only stating that so that if you are doing all 3 paintings that you make them similar. This video does not require you to watch the other videos. In this video you get all necessary steps and techniques to complete it.

Also, is it ok to use a normal black paint instead of creating it?
Yes! Use a normal black. Have fun! You're welcome!
Are you able to offer the penguin shape/sketch for less than $20? Would you be open to emailing? Sorry on a budget
Yes, I totally get it. Send me an email to Ashley@createfulart.com with this same text so I know who it's from and I'll chat with you there. 😊

Is it possible to have your permission to teach something similar to this, to a small group of 4-6 kids in my home Art Studio?...

I agree I would.like to see the reference picture instead of the polar bear. Especially since you can't see the outline.
@@jennifercasto7002 This is why I offer my reference photos :) You can get it here: www.patreon.com/posts/31898317
Awesome
Are you a Cathleen or christian
Thank you so much. I think it would be more helpful to have the penguin showing instead of the bear. I kept getting confused, especially at first.
You can get the reference photo to put next to yours if you like. I was using the bear to copy the style. I was painting without a reference to copy.
Disappointing to start the video with my kid and find out you need to buy a subscription in order to proceed with the painting.😕
You don't! That's just for the reference photo. The video shows you all the steps to paint along. Have fun!
