I still cannot figure out why they have not included it on any of their compilation albums, nor why there is only one video on YT of them performing it live. This is the only copy of the instrumental of the song that I have found, and it's excellent. Bravo you.
Holy smokes, this is like the holy grail of synthpop! I always wanted to hear precisely what Vince Clarke was doing, every last nuance, without the vocal tracks. Don't get me wrong, Andy Bell's an angel and I appreciate the whole even more -- I'm just fascinated with the synths.
