So I went there like a disco polar bear and nobody complained XD. Ah carnival is nice, they were maybe just drunk but I was happy that nobody pointed it out. Well took 3 days till I got the last sightable glitter out of my face. Shouldn't do that again XD

I think that it is really hysterical that since I was 13 and started wearing makeup but even before that in the media during the 70s-90s, young women and women in general were told that they needed to cover up any shine that our skin had, so we all ran out and obsessively powdered our faces to remove any shiny spot on our faces. The more matte the better, but then something started to change in the early 2000s and then everyone was highlighting our features but now it is the thing to have a disco ball face!!!!! More shiny the better, but I absolutely love it.

This has been a look for me for years! I never saw twilight (not a romance person) but I love an ethereal fantasy look. I use liquid highlighter mixed into my face lotion. It works better than powder bc it doesn’t settle into imperfections as much!
I recommend using the Maybelline holographic highlighter for this look, it looks super similar to the end result in the video, but it's an easier way to achieve that look c:

hello I am your resident Twilight book reference guru: basically, once you go through the painful 2-3 day vampire transformation, your skin turns to what is essentially marble. this marble still has the texture of your skin when you were alive despite crystalizing into hard rock, creating light refractions and making it look like diamonds. this is also why vampires are so impenetrable in this universe. Edward is just dramatic with his whole "this is the skin of a killer, Bella" bc you don't have to be a murdering vampire to have the skin. he's just weird.
