Excellent troubleshooting video! I had a Mercedes 300D, a few years ago that I sold, that had both a bad fuel gauge and a bad fuel tank indicator. I think I could have saved a day of troubleshooting if I used a decade box!
They're not that expensive either which is nice. You could also use cheap resistors which would yeild the same result I just used the decade box because I already had one that I'll use at work. 😀
