It'll stop his heart rate where batman's vision will show up as dead(since its based on the victims heart rate to show how scared they are. At thay moment when batman turns his back he can revive homself and shoot him in the back when he calls alfred.
you haven't played peace walker? Big Boss can lift Cocoon. Actual lasers cannot damage his body. Big Boss got both of arsenal and weapons because arkham batman only has Batman villains so he doesn't really have weapons. Batman got vehicles, IQ, tech,knowledge and flexibility. Big Boss has insane resistance against drugs batman can't use sleep gas or darts on him. Even a batman that kills has no chance against a big boss that doesn't kill. You should start peace walker ps3 hd edition with RPCS3 if you haven't, I can't get enough of benchpressing metal gears.

Now the fake joker plot he didn't exactly "decipher it" as he had a hitch of something being wrong but it wasn't complete until it was finally revealed this is arkham batman. Same with red hood it wasn't until it was revealed where he truly found out. Though in situations seeming weird like the death pill and tracking snake down he can do no problem. Third while you are right about him figuring out the death pill he's equipment is still at a disadvantage as not only will detective vision not work due to his suit but also his armor. Batman'a armor doesn't last forever and degraded over time with weak points being the joints and head(around the face and the head piece can only tank handguns a rifle and he'll be down if that hits the head.) Not to mention his equipment like his goggles allows him to see through dark and cloudy environments which is what batman mainly uses for stealth in the series this outs him at a big disadvantage. It's hard to say what would helo batman sneak up on big boss as he has a motion sensor allowing all movement to be revealed. He has many ways in tricking or beating batman like slept grenades,decoys,active camo,decoy grenades,magazines,cardboard box,etc. Lastly, combat wise batman is at a disadvantage as big bosses cqc (it can also trick people fighters thinking it's judo when it's actually not being a perfect counter to all matrial arts) is at least in the story the best hand to hand combat taking down a room of guards with nothing but also use weapons,firearms,disarming, grabbing,and even killing. A single grab from him he can kill an average soilder in just 4 seconds. He's much stronger and faster too as he lifted the sahelanthropus off himself which weighs about over 100 tons with bare hands thats like lifting a whale(not he did just lift the foot off himself so lets divide that by half the weight to be fair being 50 tons). He was also fast enough to shoot some telekinetic kid in a blink of a second and dodge bullets that being at least 300m/s. Big Boss just has an insane arsenal and fighting stats that I don't batman can face straight up, even bane could not lift to what big boss lifted (bane could of only lifted up to 6 tons) to what we stated big boss lifting 50 tons. I don't think batman can beat big boss at all since not only is his equipment going to be countered but his fighting style and stats as well it's a losing battle. Batman biggest advantage his how smart he is compared to snake but that has its limits.
