When I was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital for pregnancy complications (we're all healthy now!) the OBGYN stopped mid medical explanation to say, "Sorry, I'm so distracted by your makeup I have to get this out of my system... What are you wearing? I didn't know eyeshadow could do that, it's like your eyelids are glowing" It was Terra Moons Red Giant over a deep taupe base 😂 Indie shadows are magical
OMG haha first of all, so glad you’re all good and healthy now. that’s a hilarious story 🤣 i have to try a look with Red Giant over a deep taupe base now
As a non-native speaker who hasn't been in the indie make up community for very long, thank you so much for putting all the names on screen to read. I often struggle when brands get mentioned I hadn't heard of before (like Looxi) and it's written out nowhere, and I struggle so much trying to guess the way it's spelled... so I appreciate you going the extra step and just putting all the brands and eyeshadow names up on screen! Also thanks for the comparison, this was super interesting to see since those types of multichromes are my fave, and it helps so much to see comparisons between similar shades from different brands.
Riley, you made great use of your large collection creating such a useful comparison video! Definitely we can use much more comparisons like these ones on RUclips, and I 100% agree that there is so much information on Instagram that gets lost due to a lack of possibility of searching. I love Ice Blink, it looks sparkly and wet looking and it's obviously such a well calibrated blend. I look forward to getting mine. And thanks for the shout out also 🥰
Uh, do I enjoy this kind of content? This is my favorite content on RUclips! This was so helpful! I haven’t ordered anything indie for a while- Terra Moons is my favorite, but their releases from the past year look similar and it really puts the breaks on me buying new shadows. This is everything I want in an eyeshadow video, the comparisons, hearing you talk about how you use them or the formula differences- YES. So thank you!!
Speaking of iridescents looking white in the pan, my boyfriend wanted my Terra Moons wishlist so he could surprise me with some new shades, but he said so many of my choices looked “white and boring” on the website so he only chose colorful shades 😭😂
I'm deep tan skintone and I love TM phoenix, but the blue shift is hella strong. I can use it as a highlight topper if im doing purple-ish blush that day
I have Excelerate, Tainted and Gravity by Shine by SD. I ended up falling in love with Gravity, it's such a beautiful blood orange to gold to green, and even though it's visibly more toned down in texture than the other 2, it's still my fav because I can actually wear it on a daily basis.
I would like to see blue or green next. I am always reading through you notes on Instagram because they are so insightful! I always knew your type of analysis belonged on this type of formats so I'm so glad to see you here on RUclips doing your thing! I think I fell in love with my white looking Irideescents in January as I separated them out into their own large palette ( I have my singles separated by brands and then by collection and/or colour). When I started playing around with them I realized just how fantastic they are!
The hands down best iridescent multis I own (& I own so so many) are the clionadh iridescent version 2 & iridescent glitter type, & also the devinah halo moon (except for Nokomis because it's not very shifty but more glowy). I prefer chunky sparkle so that's why I love the above mentioned sm. I do absolutely adore all my tm, Copa, sbsd etc iridescents but they're just not as chunky as I like 😅🎉
I cant get enough of your videos! What you said at the beginning about instagram is exactly right - it's so much easier on YT to refer back to and for this i cant thank you enough 😁🙏🏽❤️
YESSSS I love a comprehensive round up. And thank you so much for the shoutout :) Zira is my favorite too!!! Like you were saying, I have used it over a few diff colored bases both on my account and IRL. I can't stop! Phoenix absolutely leaves a cast on me and I'm just a medium skin tone, but I loveeeee it so much. Though, that is part of why I love Sundog from your collab so much! The base goes muted on me and kind of meshes with my skintone and it's perrrrrfect as a one and done for me.
Yes yes yes😍 i want more of these❤️✨ im more of a YT person rather than IG and im so glad you are doing this videos🥰 i would like to see anything green iridescent 💚✨
I loved this video. I have pretty round eyes and often use two iridescents as inner corner shades. It’s so much fun to play with them. I’m planning on buying Copacetic multichromes next and now I look forward even more to getting these shadows because the one you included is stunning.
Hello and happy holidays!! Love and sincerely appreciate your amazing in depth and extensive content which has enabled me to make some great informed purchases. With this said, would you be open to creating a video on the best iridescent multi-chromes across all brands? I would like to create my own eyeshadows with iridescent, multi chrome shadows and matte shadows like you recommended and I need to understand the nuances, comparative formulas and the best flips, etc. thank you 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
I ordered excelerate from Shine by SD but my package got lost. We're still trying to figure out where it is, but I'm soo excited to recieve it! Although I wish there where red/orange shifts without green reflects.
Clionadh definitely has their own version of some of these but I don’t own any of them! This video shows some comparisons with Clionadh orange/red shades ruclips.net/video/L9NXQIA7ZGI/видео.html
I love iridescent orange, red, and blues, but is there a reason so many shift green? Personally I’m not a fan of red or pink to green shifts but they are obviously super common.
*Can I please make a video suggestion? So far I have multichromes from about 5 different brands but I realized that they have different formulas (also they all have different textures). I want to experiment with other brands but I don't want to be spending 15 dollars on a couple shadows just to try out a brand's formula. From the few I've tried, Terra Moon and Copacetic seem to have similar textures and formulas. But my favorite formula so far is from the Pastel Roses.* *Anyways, I would love for someone with a huge collection to do an in depth video about different formulas across all the brands!*
My sublunar is extremely chunky, I mean, flakes in it are huge, not like in cosmos, much bigger. Was wondering if it is a particular batch or it is always like that.
Those ones are supposed to be like pressed flakeys from what I remember easier to use than loose flakies go on smoother too but still extreme intense looking like loose flakies
You are so thorough! I can tell you put a lot of work into these videos.. I know you're just starting out with this channel but I want to give you some criticism I think is crucial because I genuinely want you to succeed and I want for all your hard work to pay off in the best way! For me, it's very hard to listen to the audio in the videos. The microphone you are using right now has the kind of quality that makes certain sounds unpleasant or even painful to someone with sensitive hearing such as myself, and there's also a buzzing in the background maybe from the camera or just the microphone itself.. I would watch using subtitles which is how I prefer to watch regardless but because they are automatically generated from the sound they aren't the best and they appear exactly wear you put the labels. I hope this is helpful feedback, it isn't meant to dishearten you in any way! ❤
Thanks for the feedback! I don’t have a budget to change my microphone or purchase equipment specifically for RUclips, since I just started this channel and it’s not monetized. I wasn’t aware of the subtitles overlapping the labels, so thanks for pointing that out!

"One because I'm extra," this is why I love your videos! You are extra in the best possible way!❤

Ice Blink is going on my list!! Never would have known. Thanks!
I came running 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️

Thank you. Would love to see a video of your absolute favourites and how you like to wear them. ❤
Multichromes are so addictive. Ever since I found them, I've been obsessed.

I bought Radar and Excelerate and ohhhhh my goodness I love them so much!!! Thanks for putting me onto them, so pretty!
Ice Blink is so gorgeous! My other fave is Sublunar!

Please do blue next! Thank you so much for doing these. They are so informative.

One of my favorite iridescents is Nokomis, so personally I’d love to see you compare blues.
I could watch this without any interruption for 28 hours straight haha thanks! x
Same! I save these longer, eyeshadow content videos and rewatch all the time. Love them!
The Copacetic Hunny Bunny is definitely in my price range.
I love Phoenix and it doesn’t leave a cast on my darker skin tone. It definitely takes over a look lol
You are simply amazing! I love how you break everything down and I can’t wait for my order from your collection to come in 🥰🥰
I'm so excited that I found your channel 😍
I love this type of in-depth video! I’m shocked you’re able to hit pan in so many of your eyeshadows! Looking forward to your Terra Moons video!
Very helpful video!
I look forward to trying Ice Blink ❄🔥
i love this video! thank you!

V2 of ice blink is incredible! I need it released one day 🤤

Although I wish there where red/orange shifts without green reflects.
I need to use my iridescent shades more… I have quite a lot of them, my makeups just gotten lazy, because I haven’t been feeling the greatest.
Are there any Clionadh iridescent that could be also compared to these? I love this video, can't wait for other iridescent comparisons
Clionadh definitely has their own version of some of these but I don’t own any of them! This video shows some comparisons with Clionadh orange/red shades ruclips.net/video/L9NXQIA7ZGI/видео.html
@@seekingshifts thank you very much, that was most helpful.

the other versions of ice blink were goergeous tho...it's kind of frustrating 😩
What is frustrating about it lol?
i just wish i could buy all of those shades 😅
I def feel in love with v2 😂
Thanks for the great review! I have been looking for a nice purple iridescent, it must be the pigment but purple/blue are sometimes less shiny?!

Omg you made this video for me didn’t you. 😂
All for your viewing pleasure ✨
Hi, do you have a Terra Moon discount codes please?
Hi! SEEKINGSHIFTS15 will work on most items but there are some exclusions 😊
