95k miles nissan versa don't remember last time I changed atf fluid should I remove the pan and change transmission filter as well or just drain and fill once or 2x??
Have a 2014 GMC Terrain AWD (2.4L Ecotec) with its first ATF change (a bit late, about 20K past its "normal" service) at just under 113K miles. It was black, but apparently not burnt smelling. It seemed to be shifting OK before and After the service so that is good... As mentioned in the Video it got 2 Drain/Fills... Although many sources (including the Shop I took it to with my own provided Dexron VI ATF, just enough for 2 Fills) suggests 3 drain/fills for this Transmission. Had a sample taken and sent for oil testing. Depending on what the results say I may return for another 3 drain/fill sooner rather then later. (Shop suggested within 15,000 miles)
Awesome video, thank you very much for your time and help. I got this car about a year ago, tranny oil looks good and clean but I'm about to change oil and filter, question is I don't know what kind of fluid they use on it, don't know if synthetic or conventional, would I be okay using what the manual says? 110000 + miles. Thanks again brother.
thank you for the education. I have a 2008 Honda accord 2.4L with DTC P0341. vibration/shaking at idle without gear. Hesitation first then sudden jump when accelerating from a stop. Also very high negative fuel trims -17 and -19. Please advice
Everybody gave a different opinion in my case i have changed the transmission Oil for my chevy impala 2019 when it was burnt and black and after that it is working fine ..
What can you say about the car that goes at limp mode at 100mph??? What can be the problem, the car tachometer maximum speed is 180mph. Shifting from 0 to 100mph is fast but when it reaches at 100mph it struggles to go past 100mph.
@@edwinalexander1170 Yeah that sound more like a transmission problem. Fluid and filter change might change that. If not might want to start saving for a rebuild an plan not to go over 100 mph. 😂 Not exactly sure why you driving that fast unless you on the track an even then you can't get it up to 180.
I heard. if u never changed your tranmission oil before . If it gets to 1000 milage, dont change it at all because it will damage the car if u change the tranmission oil.
Finally some1 that makes things easy 2 understand and straight 2 the point ..
Great video clear and easy to understand. Bravo & Thanks!
How many times can someone say “transmission fluid” in 3 minutes 😂 great video !
Yo d.a 😂😂
Thanks for the tips you made it simply to understand!
Great information
I saw you and had to watch this. You make great videos!

How about checking a sealed transmission like the ram 1500 8 speed zf.
I have a 2021 Acura ILX, 38,000 plus on it. I want to change it now, in your opinion, is it too early?

Timing might be off or camshaft sensor needs replacement
@@Top5AutoRepairscar cranks but don’t drive off when put in gear what’s that?
great video. straight to the point
Question: my oil change place recommended I flush my transmission. Do they mean to just run through twice like you said or?
The hydraulic is going to get dark and smelly on my yaris 2008 should I drain the pan and clean the filter and refill the drained amount? And is good
my fluid is clear on the stick but it is a dark brown/black on the napkin. 200k 2010 corolla
Transmission bed time story 🍼🐣🐛😸🐬👶
😂😂yesss
lol yep
I heard from a freimd if it's black and dirty it's not worth changing bc it might mess up the transmission is this true? When does it apply?
True. When it turns black it's almost too late.

@@Hhggggggggggjjjjj You certainly did not change it after 150k miles.

That sound like the governor on the car. Regardless of what the max speed says some cars won't go past that.
@@retiredsnowbunnyhunterx5106 initially it was moving well up to 180, nowadays it has that problem, how is this caused by governor????

What if you don’t have a dipstick?

So run the same oil for 100k+ miles? I heard it needs to be replaced every 30k especially with “higher performance” cars. What u think?
Very misleading
You’re stupid don’t listen to this idiot
