That was a pedestrian cross walk (white triangles)...She should have stopped and yielded to Lamont. She broke the law there. I hope Lamont reported this to the local cops.
That was an advance stop indicator and the crosswalk should have been up ahead… which if it was he was already walking behind traffic and intending to move without holding people up

Lamont was walking on the pedestrian crosswalk. She should have yielded to both Lamont and any possible approaching traffic from the intersecting street.
Scary! This could have been tragic! She should have stopped. I've had this happen, when I was on a crosswalk, and this lady was supposed to stop but didn't. I hit the back of her car with my fist, to get her attention, as she went by. She stopped, rolled down her window, and apologized. Not proud of what I did, but it did get her attention. Be careful!
I can't stand those kinds of people. Always in a hurry for no reason, and they're dangerous, horrible, distracted drivers. Pedestrians do not always have the right of way. I hate when someone waits for me at a stop sign if they don't have to, just go and get out of the way.
She seems like a jerk. Maybe she was a little unsure because her window was down and some guy starts crossing the street and she's alone in the car, in an unpopulated area. I don't condone her actions though.
@gokathygo I wish more people realized this. Thank you! I think they're just giving a license away to anyone these days. There are way too many horrible drivers on the roads now, and they're always in a race to get to the next red light.

exactly, I don’t feel safe crossing the street in general. I’ve always witnessed cars passing the stop sign instead of stopping
They figure if you yourself aren't in a vehicle at a Yield sign then you can't hurt them or their car, so to hell with you. See it all the time.
