- HITA: Would you like to host a MAP as your university project? I DO! I can't buuuuuuut my co-hoster ShowtuneCockatoo has such opportunity. So here's our Breezepelt/Heathertail MAP!
SHOWTUNECOCKATOO: As my directing debut, I am co-hosting this MAP with the incredible Eighthsun. Besides being a song that I love with characters from books I care deeply about, this is also for a uni project, (so the deadline is only slightly flexible)! This project means so much to me so thank you to Hita for this wonderful opportunity!! This MAP focuses on Heathertail and Breezepelt’s relationship and involves an event occurring near the beginning of Crowfeather’s Trial! Please take a look at all the information below!

It especially hurts since this was a uni project that they probs had to finish in a set amount of time. I'm sure it'll get finished though! Animation takes time, and the animators r probs just busy

You shouldnt apply for a map in the first place if youre gonna take more than 1 or 2 years to do a part it just seems like poor time management. Especially since map parts are usually super short.
Animation takes time. But not that much time. People should check to see if theyll have time BEFORE applying.
It may be a hobby project. But god- its a group project and its ridiculous to leave people hanging like that.
Someone else who had time couldve applied for the same part and finished it.
TL/DR:
hot take. People shouldnt apply for map parts if they arent gonna do em within 2 years. Bad time management.

I absolutely love the fact that the script was changed to fit more the events of crowfeathers trial!! Anywho I loved that book and I would love to see a breezepelt super edition , I think his POV would be an interesting one soo part 24??

i mean i doubt it was used for a school project considering they had a strict deadline for it and that was over a year and a half ago and very few people got their parts in on time ssssoo

(I came into the comments specifically to look for a comment like this, actually) i also definitely remember watching the finished map, no clue what happened. If i'm wrong then theres something going on here, because at least 3 of us had this same thought. I specifically remember watching the "Ready as I'll Ever Be" map then right after that, watching this one. It HAD to be done and deleted or something.

Maps take time. Stop being impatient. You are not the artists who are working for free to make fully animated, professionally drawn parts for this map.

Especially when you don't know all of the details about what's being worked on at the moment. If someone is planning to leave a rude and arbitrary comment like this before looking farther into the project, they should be prepared for replies such as mine. Personally I didn't perceive my response as condescending, and I'm sorry if that's how you saw it.
