Holy shit I love how the ending is the exact same but they both mean entirely different things. In the bad ending the world is covered in darkness and destroyed, but in the other your character falls asleep, and thus his world goes dark as he rests. The song can sound mournful in the dark ending, but in the good ending it feels relaxing. Exactly what Toby Fox would do lol

i love the concept that their attacks are incredibly easy when its just one of them attacking, but it gets more difficult when multiple of them go in at once

This is a really faithful interpretation of Deltarune's themes. Technically the ending is the same, so in theory "your choices don't matter," yet the different path you take getting there changes what it means. What matters about the choices you make isn't how they effect the world around you (they may not at all!), but how they reflect you yourself.
Because Kris doesn't have a personality that we know of since all his actions are not his own, it's on the person that controlled Kris how his reaction will be. Let me tell you my Kris would jump in front of the execute animation to protect Susie and Ralsei with their lifes.
I was playing this and decided to attack kris first, but then i found out that you cant execute him, so i started attacking susie and kris at the same time, when suddently when i was about to attack kris susie got in the way, and was instantly death, she was trying to protect him. that made me so sad :(
What could possibly happen in later chapters: The character we were supposed to command removed the bond between them and the player (us) permanently. The player then resorts to use the discarded vesel created in chapter 1. And something similar to this might happen.
Spoilers for Chapter 2: We know now that Kris is of course the knight. So what I’m thinking is that, the vessel’s soul and Kris’ soul finally got swapped back. Problem? Kris also has one of determination. So Susie and Ralsei think that they’re still hanging out with Kris being controlled by the player, when in actuality, your controlled soul is in the Vessel, and they’re actually helping the Knight.

I don't see Kris shaming all the way to the library even if we're in a bird cage on a wagon. Mark my words Kris being the knight is misdirection 101. No way will he be the knight.
@@Signedcentaur kris isn't the knight just because they made the fountain. think about it. when they went to the dark worlds, their life was changed for the better. they might have slashed the tires so that toriel thought someone dangerous was outside, and didn't want susie to get hurt while going home, and made her stay. they might have summoned the fountain to get a better relationship with their family, and maybe to have another adventure with susie and ralsei.
The world being filled with darkness give the light a true definition we can fight for.. But being covered in it gives off that "point of no return" feel to it..

I noticed that a few of their attacks are very similar to jevil's, but just toned down a bit. Like kris's finger attack is like Jevil's diamond attack. And Ralsei's magic is similar to Jevil's Heart attack.
If anyone is struggling with this mod's genocide ending (at least i did because i couldn't even finish off the character because they would get healed instantly), if you use taunt, all of the fun gang will 100% attack you, even if one of them is down. That's a good thing to use if Ralsei keeps healing everyone. Also it's better to kill Susie first as Ralsei stops fighting after that. It's also better to use threaten on Kris twice as that will make Ralsei use heal prayer a lot less
I love how the music changes during the fight. Starting slightly different from the regular song not too slow or quick. But after you kill the 1st party member it gets slower and more somber sounding to set the mood that you're a killer. Then when it's just you and Kris the music is very slow to show that this is the end. On the other side though when you give the manual and start helping. The music speeds up almost sounding like the original rude buster. Then after you finish the manual you're on the good path and finally you get to listen to the original Rude buster in all it's goodness.
i love how the slowed down music is technically "canon" now with the shadow men and the weather in the spamton sweepstakes even though its probably just a placeholder

I wonder what would happen if when ralsei is in his “down but can’t heal” mode and u try to attack kris, when kris is low on HP, what would happen if u took down kris, would kris just be healing himself and then will get up after heal. ( sorry if this doesnt make any sense )
If you ACT on Ralsei after you kill Susie you can insult him. You can tell him that his magic is weak to which he will reply: "If only i healed her..." If you insult him again you tell him that he is a failure and he only replys with "..." If you do it again you'll insult his fluffiness. I don't know if you can keep going or if something happens, because i then killed him and dueled Kris.
I guess the context is different tho. In the bad ending, the world is indeed covered in darkness, but in the good ending, the world isn't actually covered in darkness, that's just what it looks like from Magam's pov.
The ending being basically the same but the double meanings... The world being covered in darkness by the roaring vs the world being covered in darkness because we closed our eyes.
The duel part is just the best mechanic in whole deltarune modding I like it do much that there is a duel between kris and magam or the vessel Also the drawing part! So creative!
this looks like a super cool concept for the final boss fight of ch 7, YOU vs. the gang, after they rip you from Kris's body once and for all and fight back against your control
