I was born in 1955 but I do remember seeing some reruns apparently with him when I was growing up. I remember Alfalfa,Buckwheat and the rest of the gang, so much fun to watch.

I know Carl Switzer died fairly young, not as young as Billy but it was 1958 when he was in his 30s. Shot over a dispute over a dog.
