    I tried this cream twice for wash and go's with different leave-ins. It paired up well with the two leave-ins I used each time and I love my results: hair moisturized for days, it leaves my hair soft, no hard cast, still good definition and I have 4c hair. This is a well thought out product, it has great ingredients and it honestly exceeded my expectations. I'm glad that I bought it.

    Yeah, for a fresh , soaking wet head of hair, you need a good weekend for your hair to dry. If the hair is not completely dry, it will turn into a frizzy demon, but the cream is very moisturizing. Also, try smaller twists. I still liked your hair though. It's thick and healthy!!

    • @minervajoy
      @minervajoy  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks Nikita! I’ll definitely try it again on wet hair for a regular twistout with more twists and A LOT MORE time to dry 🤣🤣. The cream is super moisturizing. Thank You!

    Hello famiri I like the melanin cream... I have used it with the wetline extreme gel for a WASH&GO which is my go to style. I think that you could possibly try using the cream on stretched hair and do small to medium twists with rods on the end. Since your hair is so thick it may work out better. If you choose to do it on wet hair pin the roots down so they are smooth snd and not puffy, then let your hair dry a couple of days. You can always tie a pretty scarf around your head.

    I have both products and the cream makes my low porosity hair feel soft. I used it on damp hair and I use the oil to moisturize my scalp while I have in my crochet braids.

      Thanks for sharing your experience with the Products!! I have braids now, so I’m gonna try the oil on my scalp as well. It’s so funny how the cream is So THICK, but is still AMAZING for Low porosity hair!

    I have the twisting cream and haven't tried yet but I like this video because u was genuinely honest. It didn't work the first time because u was trying to do it like her but when you did what your hair likes it worked which is exactly how natural is we are all unique what works for one does work the same for another. Happy u got the outcome u wanted. 🥰 waiting until she gets her leave in back in stock so I can get my own got so many for Christmas gifts...I cant wait support a sister (black own company) ...Have a great day beloved

    I've just realized my hair always takes 2-3 days to fully dry in large twists/ braids, luckily I like how large braids and twists look 😃

    Try it again next week on freshly washed hair. Maybe leave out the oil. The ingredients are gorgeous in both products. Even for the skin.

      @minervajoy  5 лет назад +1

      I’ll definitely try it again! Thanks for the tip. Have you tried the cream on ur skin? I had the urge the try it on my body, cause it seemed so nourishing. But I didn’t do it. Did you?

    Hi Famiri! I will eventually try Melanin Haircare, but I have to use up more of my stash.

    • @minervajoy
      @minervajoy  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Famiri!! I fully understand. I ws wondering, do you think the thickness of the cream will be fine hair friendly?

    • @wannabe41
      @wannabe41 5 лет назад

      I am able to use heavier creams and butters if I apply them on wet hair and heavier products seem to soak into my hair if the products contain natural ingredients.

    Loved the intro, curlfriend. 😁. Yes someone with low porosity hair like me trying melanin hair care. 🙌.....you said it's low poroisty hair friendly. .yay! Is the oil lightweight?......loved the plot twist 😮😮. ..So with L.P.H the cream works better on dry hair and I noticed that your hair looked shinier ,softer and the braidout came out better.

    When you say wet was your hair soaking wet or damp?

    • @minervajoy
      @minervajoy  5 лет назад +1

      I tried it on both. My hair was damp at first. And afterwards I wet some of the sections till they were dripping wet. Of the two I think I liked the cream best om dripping wet hair. But my favorite is still on dry hair!

    Your hair is super frizzy

  • @kamariahjay
    @kamariahjay 5 лет назад +3

    buuuuut your hair wasnt done drying? why take it all the way out if it isnt dry? especially if you're doing a review. seems counterproductive. more time/effort could have gone into drying to make sure that damp fluff didnt happen before showing us results. hair looks so soft and lush, but damn. yall just be throwing these videos together for the sake of throwing a video together and not quality/being thorough.

    • @minervajoy
      @minervajoy  5 лет назад +4

      Hey Kamariah, thank you for your time in writing a comment. I can understand that you think it is not thought true. But that isn’t the case. I know my hair and I knew that it would take DAYS to fully dry at the roots. I had sat under the dryer for hours and that is not good for my hair. I knew it would’ve been better to take out the twists and do a braidout on dry hair. The chances that that would succeed were greater than just waiting for it to dry. So if you’re refering to me when saying “ya’ll just throw videos together”, I will have to disagree. You have the right to your opinion though, so I’ll respect it. Thank you for your time.
