The whole Eclipse scene is the most batshit insane apocalyptic scenario I have ever witnessed. My eyes and mouth were wide open the entire time.
It felt like you were participating in it, it was so scary.

Every once in awhile I have to take a second and thank god that even though the creator of berserk died chapters are getting published it would’ve been a shame if this masterpieces ending got taken to the grave along with its author

Facts. I've never been a MAPPA stan but they or maybe Ufotable could do amazing stuff with Berserk. If nothing else, they could just do a fundraiser and have the fans pay for most of the series.

Pretty sure these episodes are from the movies that came out in the 2010s. I watched the first 2 and besides the janky cgi the 2d stuff looked amazing.

honestly I like this version of the behelit waking up far more than the original anime's adaptation of it. it was a creepy yell before but this is just so disturbingly otherworldy which just fits so much more.

There are certain things you watch in anime that change you and take a piece of you when you watch it. Akira definitely fits that bill.
But THIS?! I remember every detail, every scream. I actually can’t even remember how long the scene goes on for-it feels like a half hour. But my god, I can’t get this out of my head.
I’m 36 years old currently, and I’ve been watching anime ever since I was 6 or 7, and what I saw doesn’t even come close to this nightmare.
That’s just me.

So this is when griffith said it was berserking time
This show puts to question the whole free will vs fate dilemma. While Griffith was indeed the one who made the choice at the end, the Idea of Evil and the God Hand have been manipulating both him and events around him to ensure that he would make the choice. Maybe Griffith would have made the choice regardless of the situation, or maybe he would have refused to sacrifice the Band if the God Hand hadn't pushed him to do so.
That's the thing, we never got an answer
I personally believe both options were possible. I'm not going to spoil, but if anyone has read the Black Swordsman arc, there it is shown that it is possible to break the chain of causality. Thus, the Godhand's role is to prey on people at their lowest, when they are most likely to make a horrible decision.

Probably bc of what comes after this exact moment. The killing. The raping. The fact that the hellscape is composed entirely of living bodies fused together to form one massive environment.

Read Golden Age an year ago . I liked to watch dark, psychological, gory shows. But what happened in 13th Volume was so freaking brutal I can't fathom. What corners it from others is the characters, they are so brilliantly written that even if you knew what was coming you'll still feel the pain, the agony.

Probably something along the lines of “I’ll never again be your equal”. Having Guts touch him while he was in such a useless and weak body was just to damaging to Griffith’s massive psychopathic ego.
Its has something to do with Nosferatu Zodd aswell im pretty sure as Griffith knew that if guts touched him it would fulfil the behelits wishes

Berserk is terrifying and no story can even get close to its horror. The conjuring movies? Not even close compare to the world that is ruled by monsters and those monsters are human and we can't deny that.
