Honestly i dont know if everything can be generalized about class norms. I belong to upper middle class with highly educated parents but they are not tech savvy. they have a coffee machine, halogen airfryer, massage chair even the toaster that they have never used just because they find the alternative easier and quicker. We do have live in servants but i prefer washing and ironing certain clothes and sorting my wardrobe even cleaning my mirrors myself because i've ocd and i'm only satisfied when things are done a certain way (not to mention i'm always mindful of not showing them the excessive stuff i got so they wont get hurt by the things they cant afford) I wont buy k18, kerastase, redken, olaplex pureology now and would prefer a local haircare brand over them not because i cant afford the former. Same goes for makeup, skincare, perfumes and handbags. My father who was the hod of medicine at the biggest hospital at that time had a phone worth only 11K when all his children had flagship phones simply because he's a simple man who didn't see the point in 'showing off' with expensive phones. (his words) I used to go medical college/hospital in the college bus/rikshaw with 3 cars sitting in the porch simply because we lived at quite a distance from my college and my father and brother had their own jobs, i never learned driving out of laziness, and i'm not comfortable with a driver because of the hadith that forbids two non mehrams to be alone together in an enclosed space. Even with uber, i always opt for rikshaw not the car because the rikshaw is not entirely closed. My parents were never fond of spending money on clothes. They always spent more on furniture or electronics or books (we have a whole library at home) or plants basically everything else. All through my college days i was never the best dressed one. I was financially way better than the majority of the girls way better dressed than me. Oh and i still like the 5 rupees top pops. I could go on forever. And i dont know if it's different for elites but i believe being rich and still not a bougie are not mutually exclusive.
Being a child especially daughter of two working middle class parents especially mother, teaches u value of money n u know what is important to spend on n what not. We think of our culture n deen values n think about spending money after quite a lot of thought genetically n how we are raised. Going on foot for something that doesn't require car is thought of nothing out of ordinary, indeed.

54:50 "we're nobody to judge" if khalil ur rehman qamar goes for a booty call at 4 am in the night, but we're gonna cry over the fact that a writer)/director brilliantly and beautifully crafted some scenes of two men in love hurting no-one in a series called 'barzaakh'. NO ABSOLUETLY NOT #hassan. "we're nobody to judge" when it's a man. "we're nobody to judge" when it's hetrosexuality. But we'll absolutely judge if two men are riding a bycicle, hurting no one and finally Gay Love is shown as the Love that it is! Isn't straight sex out of a marriage (that too by cheating on a wife) equally (if not more?) haraam and wrong as a Gay Person indulging in intercourse? JUDGEMENT ALWAYS ARISES FOR THE WEAKER AND THE EASIER TARGET! #hypocrisy I hope you answer this one #onthespot. . . (P.S. ALSO KUDOS #amna for being the sensible one in that review of barzaakh ep 2, maybe I'll leave this comment over there as well incase you miss it.)
OMG THANK GOD SOMEONE SAID THAT! it was so funny seeing him making such a big deal out of that and calling it a "not needed" part of the series. As if all the straight characters in all the series had been directly linked to the plot! In so much of the series heterosexuality and romantic relationships are shown as a breather or as a character's personal arc in the whole without directly linking to the main plot. But we'll cry only about the gay ppl, that too when it really is knitted well into a story! LMAO!
He can say that it's his opinion and it's no hidden fact that it's forbidden in Islam so saying that it was unnecessary is out of the blue! Also yeah infidelity is also haram like same sex relationship and so is sex of any kind outside of marriage and if it's shown it should be showed as a haram thing with serious concecionces ! No other point to this
Hassan is right. Please don't make him another aamid Liaqat because it's v painful in the end. If a person can't control himself, maybe give him sometime.

Amna I’m a passionate coffee drinker but I have a coffee machine with pods. As much as I am a coffee enthusiast- with 2 kids (3 &1 years old), a job and a house to maintain, I just don’t have the time for coffee roasts and brewing my pot unfortunately 😂😂. I mean if I’d had maids like Pakistan then that would have been a lovely option.
I am imagining KRQ writing a drama about it and then showing himself like the hero while he was abducted just like he did in sadqay tumharay. And the people will watch it just fir his antics and thats how it will have trps
Amina id right. All these shows and movies will be made by independent ( ahem) production companies registered in overseas. The plan is to grab an overseas audience from Pakistani diaspora and audience from other countries in overseas who follow Pakistani actors. These shows and movies will not be allowed to release in India. India can't place a ban on youtube and other OTT platforms so they would rather take advantage of it and make money out of it but releasing in India means 1) Pakistani soft power and Indians getting familiar with Pakistan and Pakistanis 2) Pakistanis making a huge amount of money from the Indian market and 3) Pakistanis taking over current taporri bollywood actors.

Ufff that face of Amna @55:48
I can tell she’s extremely upset
So true. Her accent n normally her composed self totally cracked n the angry lahori came out in that moment. Loved it! 😅
Hota hai Hassan, bilkul hota hai! It's been 5 years. I haven't forgotten that trip. There's some magic there.
I agree with Hassan.why will rich people not have necafe coffee ?!!!and rich people have other cars besides suv!
Agree
Chai lover here 🙋🏻♂️
Honestly i dont know if everything can be generalized about class norms.
I belong to upper middle class with highly educated parents but they are not tech savvy. they have a coffee machine, halogen airfryer, massage chair even the toaster that they have never used just because they find the alternative easier and quicker.
We do have live in servants but i prefer washing and ironing certain clothes and sorting my wardrobe even cleaning my mirrors myself because i've ocd and i'm only satisfied when things are done a certain way (not to mention i'm always mindful of not showing them the excessive stuff i got so they wont get hurt by the things they cant afford)
I wont buy k18, kerastase, redken, olaplex pureology now and would prefer a local haircare brand over them not because i cant afford the former. Same goes for makeup, skincare, perfumes and handbags.
My father who was the hod of medicine at the biggest hospital at that time had a phone worth only 11K when all his children had flagship phones simply because he's a simple man who didn't see the point in 'showing off' with expensive phones. (his words)
I used to go medical college/hospital in the college bus/rikshaw with 3 cars sitting in the porch simply because we lived at quite a distance from my college and my father and brother had their own jobs, i never learned driving out of laziness, and i'm not comfortable with a driver because of the hadith that forbids two non mehrams to be alone together in an enclosed space.
Which medical college? RMU?
Generalisation on a whole class based on one's own circle is never a good idea!
Glassworker. I met usman riaz over a decade ago in Boston. I believe it was an MIT event where he performed. He seemed passionate about his craft and very oblivious to external influences and people. Almost a savant type so I am not surprised that he didn’t do a press release/give interviews to media. Super excited about the glass worker and hope it flourishes
Just a small correction, it’s Dermatomyositis not stosis :)
I was going to look up that condition dermatomyostosis
What Hasan has is called the after effects of adrenaline shots in your body. He must have had it twice, once landing through the mountains and one taking off from the mountains. The brain takes a while to get over the adrenaline it has experienced, which is similar to survival mode.
I also thought that going to cinema is now a luxury but when i went myself after months, the vast crowd of people showed otherwise😂
Hassan: I would suggest ayatulkursi regularly
No other point to this
May be this was the way fate had chosen to expose KRQ....
Hassan is right. Please don't make him another aamid Liaqat because it's v painful in the end. If a person can't control himself, maybe give him sometime.
Then he should also stop criticizing women .He also can't criticize every woman when he himself is this much flawed
You are right but this what happens when u critical about other people unnecessary and then u won't find any support when u make a mistake same thing ammir liaquat .he used to make fun of other poeple too.media social media made us all brutal
Love watching something haute it is as dedicated as pakistani dramas to me!! It adds up as a sweet dish after watching dramas 🤍 All the love from India 🫶🏻 May this show never ends 🥹🤞🏻
Amna many wealthy people I know still prefer nescafe because of convenience, it's quite easier and convenient to make a nescafe than using cofee pods and a cofee maker especially college students regardless of their wealth, that poor old man might not have wanted the hassle right after waking up and preferred nescafe
KRQ has Dermatomyositis= inflammation of muscles and skin.
Thanks
Dr Maryam Khan
But patients are not told to avoid sun for FIVE YEARS...I MEAN WHAT IS THIS LIMIT
Very excited for Mann Jogi for all the reasons!!!
Sajal ❤
I went to Africa last year, being close to mesmerizing and powerful mother nature, where we human beings were actually meant to be. The simplicity of life, purity of hearts... Still, months after my trip, I feel that a part of my soul was left there. Visiting Northern Pakistan one day inshallah..I guess, will give me an immense sensation of contentment and closeness to my routes..can't wait😊
*KRQ ko kehna chahye tha ke bibi Quran mujhe ghair mehram aurat se baghair mehram ke moujoudgi ke milnay se mana karta hai khas toor se raat ko.*
Along with Man Jogi, you should have also discussed Ruswai.
Did Hassan say he watched Maharaj or Maharaja? Could anyone clarify for me, please
KRQ next coment/criticism will be on Amna jee...note it guys😊 52:39
BIG THANK YOU Hasan
Apnay khud hi chahat fateh Ali ki tarah Asalam o alaikum kehna bund ker dia ❤ thank you
Achhi baat h sir and mam, even we don't want any Pakistani celebrity to be in any Bollywood movie though we love their dramas 😂
Media will always go for the likes and followers….its about time Khalil ur Rehman should just Stop himself!! He likes too much attention and he loves saying the rudest and absurd things and puts down women whenever he gets a chance, it’s KRQ who needs to shut up now!
He is a very inconsiderate man and that’s the reason people feel no sympathy for him.
Hassan is very much right about the topic of drama mann jogi. I understood the same that it is about halaala. It is a sensitive topic. Let us see how the director handeled it. I hope it does not become controversial
Amna and Hassan I am watching u guys from years and I honestly love u both and pray that u guys achieve all the success that u guys deserve thankyou so much for always bringing smile on my face
❤️❤️❤️
Fauji directed by Hanu Ragavapudi
Who directed 'Sita Ramam'
A India-Pakistan based movie
Ur review of khalil ul rehman is on spot .. well explained 👏 best 👌
guys might sound dumb but I am foreigner and most of pk films are not shown here especially i dont live in a big city so yk. So how can I actually watch these films, like is there a platform? or subscription thing?
Good to see both back together in Karachi....stay blessed
Amna outfit 😍😍😍😍
Regarding Shoaib Malik all we can say is:
Angoor khhattay hain....
*KRQ ko kehna chaye tha ke bibi hadees ke kitabo me hai ke Tahna mard aurat ke beech me teesra shaitan hota hia.*
Aamna is talking about urban elite. They do have similar tastes and lifestyle.
I agree with Hassan Sakardu is beauty and you fell in love with the mountains locals ppl and so much more it’s so raw and natural beauty every one should visit .
Odd women at odd times 😂 @amna u nailed it
Hassan is right about mannjogi story.and wo mr nomaan apne se kahani bana k boldi mannjogi k bare such a looser.shout out to hassan . brilliant observation
Kis number may baat ki
#HassanChaudhary I completely agree with you. I also left a part of me when I went to Thandiyani with colleagues on a trip. It was a mesmerising experience and it led me to have my honeymoon in Naran Kaghan and it left an everlasting impression on my personality. ❤
Good to see both of you....
And the way she s saying dhoop mien mat Nikla kro😂😂😂
Why haven't you touched on Ayesha Jahanzeb public mention of her abusive marriage??
….or Zainab Jamil (former actress) who was sh*t in the face by her husband
SH team: Please, please, PLEASE watch Maharaja and review it…I’m dying to hear your thoughts on it!
My son is a coffee lover, ( but I hate coffee )drink coffee twice a day is a must for him like an addiction, and yes likes davidoff coffee and hates Nescafé , inspired by his Algerian teacher , when he was in grade 9, we r not elite but Alhamdolillah good, living in Saudi Arabia. So I think it’s all about the taste preference and of course affordability.
Totally agree with hassan. Too many interviews by KRQ
Amna is right about Nescafé coffee and association with showing elite class.
Wealth doesn’t guarantee class ….. Hassan pls rest your case here and Aamna pls do think on this line you will get what Hassan is trying to say … peace out ✌🏻
Another drama on Halala was made a few years ago with Neelum Muneer and Affan Waheed- can't recall its name.
Sajal/Prabhas is clearly a rumour. Mahira ki bhi news ayi thi Prithviraj k saat, kuch hua? Indian media is shit.
Take care of your pakistani media
India tu jese mara ja raha hai Sajal cartoon ko cast kerne ke lei.
Wow that's a harsh comment 😮
But they can go with sunblock hats umbrellas protective clothing
Hasan you said right, same thing happened with me, I visited northern areas thrice a time, and same feelings happened, Jesy kch wahan chorrr ky aae hn
I agree with Hassan 39:17 why would it be in indian media if not some truth
Hassan be honest! How difficult was it to keep a straight face when discussing KRQ's adventure?
💯 agreed with both of yours' opinions on "KRQ incident".
Hassan now it has reached the peak of curiosity please announce the cast of faraar please
Sorry for Khalil ur Rehman sahab, but a lesson learned from him “ do takke ki aurat ne unko 1 takke ka banadia”
Most awaited...for u both😂 but more than... Khalil ur rehman ji...😮
Mr. Hassan! You are looking so handsome...even younger...continue with same look.
Excitedly waiting for MannJogi and to see Bilal .
The same disorientation happens when people living abroad comes back to karachi n feel it dirty.....and people over there feels like we have become proud 😅
Honestly hassan recently in June visited north pakistan and believe me after coming back to karachi I didn't like karachi bz it's so much noise pollution air pollution uf
Nimbu pani is for electrolights which I'm sure you know you need in the heat
