i have to admit that the writer of this intriguing story has an interesting understanding of intrigue, betrayal, politics, especially among narcissistic nobility and a fascinating understanding of power games and even perhaps human psychology. this is a very good and unique story considering what I have watched on this channel and similar ones.
Really enjoying this story, I live out rural and have to drive long distances between towns going from jobs to jobs, I listen to this story while driving between towns, I've never gotten into auto books but this one has caught me. Looking forward too more chapters

Great episode! Wyatt's recognition that Lady Felicity thought she had won a victory, even if he didn't know what that victory was, shows he is growing in his understanding of the silent battle between the nobles.

Now I understand, first Clara spoke of the importance to the Principality of the industry and shipyards of Firentis and before Wyatt spoke of Firentis as a source of food, now uses Wyatt to divert the real interest, and thus lower the potential value as a target to Firentis, before a successful negotiation. What a kind of mastermind is Clara.
For some reason, this suddenly reminded me of the youth that were sent to war. Naive and simple but with learned principles that they carried into in unmeasurable hardships. Some that survived were broken others excelled. None were unchanged.

No way did someone like Clara dump Sir Wyatt in the clutches of a talented adversary without knowing exactly what would transpire. Sir Wyatt gets a valuable lesson, Felicity gets a false feeling of victory and Clara wins again! I suspect that this conversation will reinforce the notion that Sir Wyatt is pretending to have been a commoner but if otherwise, Clara planned it that way....
Wyatt has been victorious in starfighter combat, ship to ship combat, boarding actions, duels and tricking traitor to reavel themselves at bad time but his greatest challenge yet is a garden/maze! 😂

of course his armor is linked to a certain communication network that spills every secret, but so does lady Felicity knows this. I bet these nobles have intelligence enhancing implants as well, I mean... it's absolutely obvious. even if not mentioned in the story, one would pay a fortune to have it's mind sharper than humanly possible.
well they weren't exactly lies, food is extremely important in war and has led to many victories and defeats.....she just omitted the rest of her goal, but truth is the first casualty of war.
I beg to differ. Wyatt is already a proven entity testing him would be superfluous on Clara's part. Instead Clara will learn more about how her enemy is thinking strategically by how her manner works with Wyatt through her reaction to him. Felicity showed a lack of imagination in the interaction perhaps because she presumes to much which would be a weakness on her part . Don't be surprised if Clara doesn't have Wyatt work the same trickery as with the earlier spys on Felicity, the door is wide open here. Leaving Wyatt with Felicity was like leaving a pandora's box to good not to open. Ouch.

Clara deliberately gave him false information knowing full well he would be targeted. It wasn’t malicious on Clara’s behalf, Wyatt doesn’t have the same background of years of political intrigue experience, and would have always failed against such an opponent, so how to turn such a weakness into an opportunity? Give him a false narrative, set him up as bait, and the fish took it…. Wyatt will be pissed later, but that type of trick only works once.
Nice to see this chapter starting from the Draymore delegation being lead by Felicity Cintor thinks of what Wyatt's reaction to the "living Drazin". I do like how Felicity ignored Wyatt Staples until someone pointed out what would someone have to do be worthy of being the left hand of Clara the Reaper (totally a blue blood thing to do)? Its hilarious how Felicity is dumbfounded and confused by how Clara acted, that Clara cares for this Wyatt and used this unexpected situation to her advantage! Its hilarious how the nobles of the nobles trying to figure out who Wyatt is due to the recorders on him for the 3rd Fleet are missing. I do like how Casimir was smart in he was more focused on the danger of Clara having a Reckoning class Assault Stealth Destroyer and it must have been originally Samuel's Glory. Maximilian Userek is funny in how he characterizes Tamiran Cayston very well in an insulting way. I am not surprised members of Draymore delegation think about to go after Wyatt since he seems to be a weakness of Clara. Felicity is thinking to using her womanly wiles on him to spill secrets to her, which is going to be hilarious seeing her trying to bend his titanium will! 🤣😂 I totally agree with how Wyatt is annoyed with waiting 4 hours for just some brief talk between Clara and the head of house Firentis and then just leaving seems to be a total wast of time. I am not surprised that Clara finds Wyatts reaction to this amusing. Nice seeing the first peaceful interaction of Draymore and Astor force in this series how they have to be nice and not try to attack each other physically but instead in gilded, honey laced words. I do love how EkhidnaWritez has Clara understand what Felicity's true goal of coming to her and pretending to not realize it but turn it to her own advantage! Clara shows her true trust in Wyatt in not giving him specific orders other than escort Felicity for a while, knowing Wyatt's indomitable will and awareness of dangers of noble women trying to use him for their own advantage will make him paranoid of any attempts of Felicity. Its interesting seeing how Felicity tries to get a understanding of the unusual person Wyatt is, she is getting some useful info from him even though its very general stuff but still quite useful if used properly. She sees that Wyatt is truly most likely born a commoner and that he is someone lives his life by the motto: Loyalty is its own reward. I do respect Felicity makes Wyatt for the first time ever think about what would he do if House Astor loses to House Draymore, which is an important thing to do. I do like how Felicity respects Wyatt for his strong will not truly bending his will to her. I would not be surprised that Felicity was happy that she was able to get such a strong willed person like Wyatt to blush at her actions. I have a feeling she is seeing Wyatt as a interesting challenge to break his defenses. I do like how this chapter ends with Wyatt wondering how his family is doing, with him paradoxically wanting to talk with them soon and not soon at the same time! He longs to talk with his loving family but does not want to deal with the stuff with him being a noble his eyes no longer being the same. Then realizing he is lose in a garden/maze, Wyatt's greatest challenge yet! 🤣😂😆 It will be fun to see how the political battlefield between Draymore and Astor for house Firentis to side with them. Also further interactions between Felicity and Wyatt where they try to get info from each other that might be useful but at the same time making sure its not false intel. I can better see now, how book 2 will end- with Wyatt’s promotion to Lt. Commander, after He takes command of the Noirnavio at Clara’s order, and supported by Redford, to Combat Maximillian & the 6x Stealth ships, which Wyatt will destroy/Disable a few with the Fighter Squadrons, but the real challenge will be how Maximillion commands the Stealth Destroyer… It’ll be interesting hearing Wyatt & Maximillian’s interaction… it’ll also be interesting how Casmire & Wyatt confront each other… My other question- was Samual Cayston’s body put on ice, due to his standing, to be handed back to the Cayston Family as a sign of “Good will & Respect”??

@@Soundwave119 as a child for a couple of years I was living on the estate attached to a stately home, the formal gardens were about 20 acres and the whole point of them was to isolate you from the house, the gardens of this place are attached to a palace of the planets rulers I would not be surprised to find that they are hundreds of acres in size with lots of trees and shrubs blocking line of sight, actually quite easy to get lost in, but those size gardens always have few staff wandering about doing odd jobs all the time

Wyatt appears to just begin to understand what his true duties are. Being drawn into the battlefield of.the nobility is something new to him. Another very well written chapter.
Clara is master of political machinations and probably has several different plots going on at once. It could be something as simple Cynthia is getting some rest so she can watch over Clara throughout the night. This is one of two favorite continuing stories on the channel. Thank you so much for continuing this story. This story is close to the Lois McMaster Bujold stories about Miles. I miss those stories and am sad that I could find no more about him and his family after 2012. She wrote other stories, but it was Miles that I loved.
Oh I can’t take it. The wait is brutal. Trying to listen to other books but just can’t get into them. I am totally captivated. Wish this was a hardback series that I just read and re-read over and over.
Since I found the first chapter, I've listened to all of the chapters over and over again. At work, I would start book1 at the start of a job and then stop when the job was done. Only to restart where I left off with the next job.

Wyatt already believes that the Principality is a successful cosmic empire, but can't embrace that this is how nobility does business. Clara sees how adept he can be with the nuance, but the conditioning limits his perspective.
Wyatt unknowingly told her what Clara was after with out even realizing it, or did he? For all we know Clara told Wyatt that they were after the food production, just in case Wyatt was questioned in casual conversation. Yet all along she was after troops and possibly the production facility for maybe Lachoa farming being they are a good source of protein. Think about it an easily available and produced source of protein that could feed the commoner troops and turn a profit it would be a win for both.
Potentially calling them "traitors" could have been a social faux pas, but given the arm thing prior I can consider that might not be held against them. He certainly did give away a lot of information without realizing, the only question will be if the Dreymore delegation reads too far into his actions to come to the opposite conclusions from the truth.
I honestly think Wyatt is going to be pissed with Clara, the Author has already told us why Clara is here, but Clara could not resist using Wyatt, right after the lecture on Trust, sooner or later Clara is going to do something stupid or maybe more than one thing and she's going to either get Wyatt telling her NO using the Prince's orders to keep her safe or he's going to have to rescue her again, or maybe even both if the Author can come up with a way of doing so, if Clara had forgotten what it was like to be shoved to one side I wonder how she will take being told she cannot do something
Clara trusted Wyatt to handle Felicity well enough to not need to give him specific orders other than to escort her. She knows that Wyatt will not intentionally give any valuable intel to someone who is clearly on the opposite side of the conflict. Clara though could have given Wyatt a bit more explanation but at the same time it could be Clara was trying to pull the wool over Felicity as much as possible to not suspect Wyatt would be on his guard her honey words. Clara I do think is using Wyatt to gain more info about Felicity and give some not important info do Draymore faction for some political machinations we commoners would have hard time to fully understand the logic behind it. I can though see your point of the view to a degree and good chance its also maybe a product of more your private chats with EkhidnaWritez. Wyatt is the key for Clara to reach her full potential with him there to temper Clara when she is at her most volatile and short sighted moments. Wyatt is the person who tell her no without worrying about his life being on the line, force her to slow down and think things out more. In many ways Wyatt is perfect balance for both Clara and Cynthia with their flaws and they in turn help balance his flaws. Its a nice symbiotic relationship between the 3 of them.

it’s a very passing over comment, but important about the black ships i think. the castors “haven’t been able to decipher the secrets of these black ships, but we are growing closer as each passing day.” tells me that they acquired them instead of designing or requesting the building of them as the builders would have told them how to fly them and all of there capabilities. i wonder if they found them or acquired them and then decided it gave them an advantage to seize the throne.
From what has been said already they appear to have been "gifted " them, it's very telling that the design of the ships is apparently far superior to Principality vessels (or others known to them) but that the ships only have Principality weaponry installed rather than anything better
Felicity attempted to have Wyatt ask questions as to what benefits he received from House Draymore, but Wyatt never asked what benefits he could receive. What Felicity learned from Wyatt is that he was a commoner, but now a knight to House Astor, where Wyatt informed that Felicity and everyone connected to Draymore are tratiors! Whom will not get the support of the house at the negotiating table. Wyatt is a cold, bloodied killer who will take her life and persons around her. Another important item that hasn't been discovered by the Draymoore House is that Wyatt is an Ace who shot down 30 aircraft of Drazzens fighters in a dog fight at the Wood Shaft station, nor of the deal struck with House Astor with the Wood Shaft space port, and now House Cassen is rejected and will be attacked when a ship shows up.
Actually in Jade's report talks about Wyatt being the Woodshalft Ace, so Felicity knows about that at least. I don't think Felicity has given up on Wyatt yet, she sees him a true challenge and will be eager to be over come his titanium will. If nothing else, she can at least get a better read on who Wyatt is than Jade could since she can interact with Wyatt in neutral territory.

I can see Wyatts getting a protagonists., thks to Maximilian the lone wolf. And at some point Wyatt will have to put him down. The question is when. And of Wyatt course will have his doc holiday moment.
Personally I don't think Wyatt is a lone wolf, he's something else, probably far more dangerous. The lone wolves are still apparently nobles and so far they seem to by and large all think the same way, with honourable fights etc. True lone wolves are Alpha Males who have either left their pack rather than challenge the pack leader or have lost their position of pack leader by being beaten by the new pack leader. Right now I think Wyatt is finding his place in the world, the only reason anyone will call him a lone wolf is because they don't have a suitable description for what he really is, the author has been giving us glimpses of Wyatt's potential without revealing everything, if I were to guess we will discover that Wyatt is going to be a pack leader ... Maybe, maybe not. So far the story portrays Clara as a very Machiavellian character that is playing the game at a high level. There's no guarantee she actually told Wyatt the truth about the goal. If anything, it's more likely she did not. She knows Wyatt is inexperienced at best at those games and she ordered him to accompany someone she knows to be a master manipulator as well. Chances are it's another misdirection. I really like the way political games are evolving in this story. It could grow into a great subplot.
To be fair though EkhidnaWritez has left this happen in this series for a while now. He has made this potenail eventallity particularly noticeable since like chapter 33 when Clara and Cynthia point out to Wyatt how many single noble ladies will seek him out for their own or their house gain for either short term gain or long term gain like having him marry them.
A thought came to me.. If they get the 3rd fleat Record... will they believe it being as bad as his teacher treated him only 15 times in the simulator and being assigned garbage duty for 2 years ??????😮
Since Nobles love to overthink- they’ll see Wyatt is more skilled, and the Garbage Hauler Detail for what it is- Punishment for making them all Look Bad, since Wyatt was a mere Commoner….
Looking 4 suggestions. I love this story and previesly listened 2 and greatly enjoyed the story titled the last humans on this channel. Guessing it will remain unfinished it hasnt been updated in a long time. Any good ideas on other stories on this channel i might enjoy. i like ones like this story and the last humans meaning that are generaly upbeat, positve,not 2 graphic, and like in the last humans show the positive potential of humanity and kinda of why you shouldnt under estamate humans. not a big fan of the dystopian story stuff i think humans are inheirently better than that future. appreciate any listening suggestions you might have. I enjoyed "Humans have starships" very different plot and almost 3 hrs but not done and it hasn't moved in a month. It is nowhere as complex but the author does interpersonal relations well
Most people do not realise that it's harder to restrain someone without hurting them than it is to do so if you are not worried about causing them injury. To an outsider who knows the Royal Marines reputation it required 4 of them to stop him, to the Royal Marines, they merely stopped a "friend/cousin" from making any more of a fool of himself without hurting him. Wyatt is not a Royal Marine but their captain has been treating him as someone worthy of their respect, since there are only 20 of them on board the Noirnavio it's fair to assume they all know Wyatt at least a little from practice sessions if nothing else and that he has done nothing to upset any of them LOL
Probably neither since while Wyatt has a good control of his sex drive but I can see that easily changing for the right lady being around him at the right time. Also Wyatt is looking for true love to be marring anyone. Wyatt was originally planing on to not marry until after his tour in the navy was complete and him leaving the service before start looking for a wife. Now Wyatt is in the middle of House war, a officer and a noble. So yeah, Wyatt is not going to even think about romance until at least he feels comfortable enough as a noble and a officer. I don't expect any beginnings of romance for Wyatt in this book at all. Then when a romance starts for Wyatt, its going to be slow burning one due to it happening in the middle of a House War.

If the enemy has stealth warships, what about stealth fighters, and drop pods? That could be coming to the story, it would be a big challenge for all of Wyatt's I skills.

I bet these nobles have intelligence enhancing implants as well, I mean... it's absolutely obvious. even if not mentioned in the story, one would pay a fortune to have it's mind sharper than humanly possible.

I beg to differ. Wyatt is already a proven entity testing him would be superfluous on Clara's part. Instead Clara will learn more about how her enemy is thinking strategically by how her manner works with Wyatt through her reaction to him. Felicity showed a lack of imagination in the interaction perhaps because she presumes to much which would be a weakness on her part . Don't be surprised if Clara doesn't have Wyatt work the same trickery as with the earlier spys on Felicity, the door is wide open here. Leaving Wyatt with Felicity was like leaving a pandora's box to good not to open. Ouch.

It wasn’t malicious on Clara’s behalf, Wyatt doesn’t have the same background of years of political intrigue experience, and would have always failed against such an opponent, so how to turn such a weakness into an opportunity?
Give him a false narrative, set him up as bait, and the fish took it….
Wyatt will be pissed later, but that type of trick only works once.

Nice to see this chapter starting from the Draymore delegation being lead by Felicity Cintor thinks of what Wyatt's reaction to the "living Drazin". I do like how Felicity ignored Wyatt Staples until someone pointed out what would someone have to do be worthy of being the left hand of Clara the Reaper (totally a blue blood thing to do)? Its hilarious how Felicity is dumbfounded and confused by how Clara acted, that Clara cares for this Wyatt and used this unexpected situation to her advantage! Its hilarious how the nobles of the nobles trying to figure out who Wyatt is due to the recorders on him for the 3rd Fleet are missing.
I do like how Casimir was smart in he was more focused on the danger of Clara having a Reckoning class Assault Stealth Destroyer and it must have been originally Samuel's Glory. Maximilian Userek is funny in how he characterizes Tamiran Cayston very well in an insulting way. I am not surprised members of Draymore delegation think about to go after Wyatt since he seems to be a weakness of Clara. Felicity is thinking to using her womanly wiles on him to spill secrets to her, which is going to be hilarious seeing her trying to bend his titanium will! 🤣😂
I totally agree with how Wyatt is annoyed with waiting 4 hours for just some brief talk between Clara and the head of house Firentis and then just leaving seems to be a total wast of time. I am not surprised that Clara finds Wyatts reaction to this amusing. Nice seeing the first peaceful interaction of Draymore and Astor force in this series how they have to be nice and not try to attack each other physically but instead in gilded, honey laced words. I do love how EkhidnaWritez has Clara understand what Felicity's true goal of coming to her and pretending to not realize it but turn it to her own advantage! Clara shows her true trust in Wyatt in not giving him specific orders other than escort Felicity for a while, knowing Wyatt's indomitable will and awareness of dangers of noble women trying to use him for their own advantage will make him paranoid of any attempts of Felicity.
Its interesting seeing how Felicity tries to get a understanding of the unusual person Wyatt is, she is getting some useful info from him even though its very general stuff but still quite useful if used properly. She sees that Wyatt is truly most likely born a commoner and that he is someone lives his life by the motto: Loyalty is its own reward. I do respect Felicity makes Wyatt for the first time ever think about what would he do if House Astor loses to House Draymore, which is an important thing to do. I do like how Felicity respects Wyatt for his strong will not truly bending his will to her. I would not be surprised that Felicity was happy that she was able to get such a strong willed person like Wyatt to blush at her actions. I have a feeling she is seeing Wyatt as a interesting challenge to break his defenses.
I do like how this chapter ends with Wyatt wondering how his family is doing, with him paradoxically wanting to talk with them soon and not soon at the same time! He longs to talk with his loving family but does not want to deal with the stuff with him being a noble his eyes no longer being the same. Then realizing he is lose in a garden/maze, Wyatt's greatest challenge yet! 🤣😂😆
It will be fun to see how the political battlefield between Draymore and Astor for house Firentis to side with them. Also further interactions between Felicity and Wyatt where they try to get info from each other that might be useful but at the same time making sure its not false intel.

I can better see now, how book 2 will end- with Wyatt’s promotion to Lt. Commander, after He takes command of the Noirnavio at Clara’s order, and supported by Redford, to Combat Maximillian & the 6x Stealth ships, which Wyatt will destroy/Disable a few with the Fighter Squadrons, but the real challenge will be how Maximillion commands the Stealth Destroyer…
It’ll be interesting hearing Wyatt & Maximillian’s interaction… it’ll also be interesting how Casmire & Wyatt confront each other… My other question- was Samual Cayston’s body put on ice, due to his standing, to be handed back to the Cayston Family as a sign of “Good will & Respect”??

@@Soundwave119 as a child for a couple of years I was living on the estate attached to a stately home, the formal gardens were about 20 acres and the whole point of them was to isolate you from the house, the gardens of this place are attached to a palace of the planets rulers I would not be surprised to find that they are hundreds of acres in size with lots of trees and shrubs blocking line of sight, actually quite easy to get lost in, but those size gardens always have few staff wandering about doing odd jobs all the time

This is one of two favorite continuing stories on the channel. Thank you so much for continuing this story. This story is close to the Lois McMaster Bujold stories about Miles. I miss those stories and am sad that I could find no more about him and his family after 2012. She wrote other stories, but it was Miles that I loved.

Wyatt already believes that the Principality is a successful cosmic empire, but can't embrace that this is how nobility does business. Clara sees how adept he can be with the nuance, but the conditioning limits his perspective.
Clara knew what she was doing when she order. Wyatt to accompany the lady. The question is what was she playing at.
The secret with feeding your enemy with lies is to ensure there is plenty of truth in the mix so that the lie is swallowed whole
Wyatt unknowingly told her what Clara was after with out even realizing it, or did he? For all we know Clara told Wyatt that they were after the food production, just in case Wyatt was questioned in casual conversation. Yet all along she was after troops and possibly the production facility for maybe Lachoa farming being they are a good source of protein. Think about it an easily available and produced source of protein that could feed the commoner troops and turn a profit it would be a win for both.
I think the main thing Wyatt let out was the confirmation that he was a commoner. Yes Volantis may be an alternative agricultural word
Potentially calling them "traitors" could have been a social faux pas, but given the arm thing prior I can consider that might not be held against them.
He certainly did give away a lot of information without realizing, the only question will be if the Dreymore delegation reads too far into his actions to come to the opposite conclusions from the truth.

I honestly think Wyatt is going to be pissed with Clara, the Author has already told us why Clara is here, but Clara could not resist using Wyatt, right after the lecture on Trust, sooner or later Clara is going to do something stupid or maybe more than one thing and she's going to either get Wyatt telling her NO using the Prince's orders to keep her safe or he's going to have to rescue her again, or maybe even both if the Author can come up with a way of doing so, if Clara had forgotten what it was like to be shoved to one side I wonder how she will take being told she cannot do something
He has protected her from a perceived threat. Now it is time or leading to him protecting her from herself.
Clara trusted Wyatt to handle Felicity well enough to not need to give him specific orders other than to escort her. She knows that Wyatt will not intentionally give any valuable intel to someone who is clearly on the opposite side of the conflict. Clara though could have given Wyatt a bit more explanation but at the same time it could be Clara was trying to pull the wool over Felicity as much as possible to not suspect Wyatt would be on his guard her honey words. Clara I do think is using Wyatt to gain more info about Felicity and give some not important info do Draymore faction for some political machinations we commoners would have hard time to fully understand the logic behind it.
I can though see your point of the view to a degree and good chance its also maybe a product of more your private chats with EkhidnaWritez. Wyatt is the key for Clara to reach her full potential with him there to temper Clara when she is at her most volatile and short sighted moments. Wyatt is the person who tell her no without worrying about his life being on the line, force her to slow down and think things out more. In many ways Wyatt is perfect balance for both Clara and Cynthia with their flaws and they in turn help balance his flaws. Its a nice symbiotic relationship between the 3 of them.
Or worse yet: if it remains in the back of his mind and he ends up getting captured, it would make him more susceptible to brainwashing.

From what has been said already they appear to have been "gifted " them, it's very telling that the design of the ships is apparently far superior to Principality vessels (or others known to them) but that the ships only have Principality weaponry installed rather than anything better

Felicity attempted to have Wyatt ask questions as to what benefits he received from House Draymore, but Wyatt never asked what benefits he could receive.
What Felicity learned from Wyatt is that he was a commoner, but now a knight to House Astor, where Wyatt informed that Felicity and everyone connected to Draymore are tratiors! Whom will not get the support of the house at the negotiating table.
Wyatt is a cold, bloodied killer who will take her life and persons around her.
Another important item that hasn't been discovered by the Draymoore House is that Wyatt is an Ace who shot down 30 aircraft of Drazzens fighters in a dog fight at the Wood Shaft station, nor of the deal struck with House Astor with the Wood Shaft space port, and now House Cassen is rejected and will be attacked when a ship shows up.
Actually in Jade's report talks about Wyatt being the Woodshalft Ace, so Felicity knows about that at least. I don't think Felicity has given up on Wyatt yet, she sees him a true challenge and will be eager to be over come his titanium will. If nothing else, she can at least get a better read on who Wyatt is than Jade could since she can interact with Wyatt in neutral territory.

Personally I don't think Wyatt is a lone wolf, he's something else, probably far more dangerous. The lone wolves are still apparently nobles and so far they seem to by and large all think the same way, with honourable fights etc.
True lone wolves are Alpha Males who have either left their pack rather than challenge the pack leader or have lost their position of pack leader by being beaten by the new pack leader.
Right now I think Wyatt is finding his place in the world, the only reason anyone will call him a lone wolf is because they don't have a suitable description for what he really is, the author has been giving us glimpses of Wyatt's potential without revealing everything, if I were to guess we will discover that Wyatt is going to be a pack leader ... Maybe, maybe not. So far the story portrays Clara as a very Machiavellian character that is playing the game at a high level. There's no guarantee she actually told Wyatt the truth about the goal. If anything, it's more likely she did not. She knows Wyatt is inexperienced at best at those games and she ordered him to accompany someone she knows to be a master manipulator as well. Chances are it's another misdirection.
I really like the way political games are evolving in this story. It could grow into a great subplot.

He has made this potenail eventallity particularly noticeable since like chapter 33 when Clara and Cynthia point out to Wyatt how many single noble ladies will seek him out for their own or their house gain for either short term gain or long term gain like having him marry them.

Looking 4 suggestions. I love this story and previesly listened 2 and greatly enjoyed the story titled the last humans on this channel. Guessing it will remain unfinished it hasnt been updated in a long time. Any good ideas on other stories on this channel i might enjoy. i like ones like this story and the last humans meaning that are generaly upbeat, positve,not 2 graphic, and like in the last humans show the positive potential of humanity and kinda of why you shouldnt under estamate humans. not a big fan of the dystopian story stuff i think humans are inheirently better than that future. appreciate any listening suggestions you might have. Most people do not realise that it's harder to restrain someone without hurting them than it is to do so if you are not worried about causing them injury. To an outsider who knows the Royal Marines reputation it required 4 of them to stop him, to the Royal Marines, they merely stopped a "friend/cousin" from making any more of a fool of himself without hurting him. Wyatt is not a Royal Marine but their captain has been treating him as someone worthy of their respect, since there are only 20 of them on board the Noirnavio it's fair to assume they all know Wyatt at least a little from practice sessions if nothing else and that he has done nothing to upset any of them LOL

Probably neither since while Wyatt has a good control of his sex drive but I can see that easily changing for the right lady being around him at the right time. Also Wyatt is looking for true love to be marring anyone. Wyatt was originally planing on to not marry until after his tour in the navy was complete and him leaving the service before start looking for a wife. Now Wyatt is in the middle of House war, a officer and a noble. So yeah, Wyatt is not going to even think about romance until at least he feels comfortable enough as a noble and a officer. I don't expect any beginnings of romance for Wyatt in this book at all. Then when a romance starts for Wyatt, its going to be slow burning one due to it happening in the middle of a House War.

If the enemy has stealth warships, what about stealth fighters, and drop pods? That could be coming to the story, it would be a big challenge for all of Wyatt's I skills.
