That was an amazing setup and a first time seeing 2 stoves in one shelter but waaayyyyy too much work for a one nighter in my opinion . This is more of a base camp for multi days use, like for hunting, ice fishing , ... I can imagine all the work still to do at home cleaning and drying gear , you are a very resilient man. Thanks for the video , it was magical with that snowstorm
Thank you! This is the first hot tent I have seen with two stove jacks. The entire setup was overkill for one person, especially for one night. I plan on taking my kids out with this tent so I wanted to test it out first. They better feel special because that was a LOT of work! 😂

Hello, and thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I got a late start on this trip and had maybe 4 hours of daylight. I was chopping down those last trees by the light of my headlamp 😅 It was way to warm outside to use two stoves but since I went through the effort to bring this tent I just had to use two stoves! It was unbearably hot even when they were on low. 104 F (40 C) in the middle of the tent. It must have been at least 125 F (52 C) at the top! This tent would work great in very cold temperatures.
@@HikeCampClimb the teepee tents are really nice! they look like they have a lot of room inside. thank you for the info on the stoves. I had never seen two stoves used in a tent before. I can see though, if it gets really cold it'd be nice to use two. Every time I watch your videos I miss camping. live close to local mountains. just haven't found the time to get up there. 😊

Thank you for watching! All the trees in this forest are evergreens. I can't tell you exactly what type of tree but I'm assuming these were some type of pine. The wood does look yellowish though!

Watching this heavy snow camping is beautiful but also scary at the same time. No snow where I live, the coldest temperature here usually about 16 degrees Celsius and that's even considered freezing cold, so I can only imagine how cold was below 0 degree C. Great camera work, by the way!
