Just received my new Samsung A54 phone and transferred my old sd card from older Samsung and then was able to optimize my storage to the card thanks to this excellent and specific, and easy to follow vid. I have plenty of internal storage now with 94.2 GB available out of 128GB total. Excellent!😄

The Samsung A sample video looks impressive, and I'm sure the microSD card will come in handy for storing all those videos

Dual SIM card support is a big plus for me, I'm glad you have a video on that too

I already watched your Samsung A unboxing and setup videos, and this one completes the series perfectly

So if u put saved items to SD card 🤔 will it let u access those items once u place your phone card back in & the sd card has been removed?

It does not support adoptable storage right? I think I will need to chose another brand.

Hi, it looks like Samsung haven't supported adoptable storage since around 2016, it's not been a feature since Galaxy S7 and above. There are always other brands, but most brands don't support SD cards at all, which is why having an SD card slot on the A54 in 2023 is a good thing. Let us know if you have other good alternatives with functionality similar to adoptive storage. Thanks for watching!

When I move an app to my sd card it doesn't show any error, but my internal storage is still maxed out. Do you know why?

Hi, how big is the file you're trying to move, and what is it? If you go to Settings/Battery and device care/Storage, it should show you exactly how much storage you have used on both the phone and SD. Try moving a big file, does it change in both places? It might depend on what you're trying to move, can you confirm how you're doing it? Thanks for the question and thanks for watching!

@@TechTravelGeeks The app I want to transfer is about 3 GB. I go to App info/storage/change storage location/SD card. When the app is transfered 100% I go to my storage settings and it still shows that it is full. When I go to the storage settings of my SD card it shows that it is used for 1 GB, but these are photo's.
