    Melani was able to deliver those high notes in the big live show too.

      I believe it! I’m assuming they have to make a submission just like ESC right?

      @@LegionGames2076 Spain has chosen Melani Garcia internally - in other countries the representative is selected by a national show and the winner can then represent the country at the Junior ESC. It's the same as with the adult ESC. However, there are no semi-finals in the Junior ESC, only a final show. This year only 13 countries are competing because of the virus. I think there will be around 20 countries after the virus ends. Some are added and some countries pause.

    • @LegionGames2076

      It’s because Spain is apart of the big 5 right? Well it’s unfortunate only half the countries are participating, but it’ll be inspiring. An inspiration the world really needs!

      @@LegionGames2076 no. In jest there no big five because there no semi final. And the way they choose the entry in not conect in any way to the big 5 issue

      Really? I did not know that, thank you!

    Thanks for checking it out!
    The live performance was amazing but i guess it keeps getting blocked? Definitely makes it more exciting to watch on a big stage live

    • @LegionGames2076
      @LegionGames2076  3 года назад

      Yeah the live version keeps getting blocked. I tried pausing it every 30 seconds. I may try every 25 to see if that works.

      I’ll figure something out, it’s just going to take trial and error. I’m stubborn, I don’t know how to quit, lol!

    Junior Eurovision is in November (regular ESC is in May) This year will take place on November 29th. I don’t remember if it is geobloqued as well in North America... anyways, you should listen to this years song : Palante from Solea

    • @LegionGames2076
      @LegionGames2076  3 года назад

      I think it is still blocked in North America, probably until EBU debuts the American Song Contest. I’ll definitely check that song out!

    Jeez! The range on her!!!! For such a tiny person you wouldn’t think she could hit such high notes. That was definitely a shock. I actually preferred not looking at the subtitles while listening. Her voice was so good I felt the subtitles took away from it. Question. These are submission videos right? So are there rules on submitted an edited video? I always thought it had to be clear that the artist was singing.

    • @LegionGames2076
      @LegionGames2076  3 года назад

      The submission video is copyrighted by the media corporation of its home country, it’s still claimed but they let it be viewed. The European Broadcasting Union owns the Eurovision event, they’re the ones flat out blocking the video.

    • @sarahhaupt5687
      @sarahhaupt5687 3 года назад

      Legion Games 2076 no I mean, when the contestants submit a video, do they not have to show that they are in fact singing? For instance, this video has clearly gone through an editing process since it’s basically a music video and the sound quality on a beach would suck. So my question is, how do the judges know the singers aren’t editing their voices when making these elaborate music videos? Is there more to the submission process for these contestants that we aren’t privy to? Now, don’t hear what I’m not saying. I’m not saying this girl is edited. I’m just saying, seeing the song in music video form just made me wonder about the song submission process.

    • @LegionGames2076
      @LegionGames2076  3 года назад

      No, the submission process is like the movie. They have to perform in person and win their national competition, then the music video is made for the winner leading into the international Eurovision. They also play the songs on the local radio station so the audience can hear the music before the actual contest.

    • @sarahhaupt5687
      @sarahhaupt5687 3 года назад

      Legion Games 2076 are they required to make these music videos too or is that by choice?

    • @LegionGames2076
      @LegionGames2076  3 года назад

      I think each nation does it as a kind of advertising their selected national winner. Don’t quote me on that, I still have a lot to be taught, lol!

    @Legion Games 2076 - do more Junior Eurovision reactions (if possible) - the JESC is so good from 2016 till today and the new season just started with the song from Germany (debut in JESC). The show is here on youtube and in Europe on TV November 29th but you are able to vote for your favorite songs worldwide.

    Hi Legion, JESC is taking place in Warsaw in November this year. Like with the adult contest, the winners host the following year - and last years contest was won by Poland. This years entries are just starting to filter through, and the contest will be held virtually with performances from studios in each of the participating countries. Unfortunately, due to Covid there are only 13 entries this year....
    I get your issues with your videos being blocked but the "official videos" don't really give you a feel for the live contest and staging that you enjoyed so much in the movie. Not sure what to suggest, but comparing your reactions with others a couple of things jump out - 1) Perhaps talking intermittently as the video plays and pausing occasionally prevents larger chunks of the audio being copyrighted (dunno?) Also, 2) Most reactors tend to have themselves in the large screen and the video they are reacting to in the smaller screen . Again, don't know if that helps but it's a difference I noticed... Keep on trying, keep up the good work - really enjoy your content and enthusiasm :)

      Well I look forward to seeing how this years JESC turns out! Absolutely, I definitely prefer the live version more. I’m going to keep trying different things until one finally works. I’ll be honest, when I started this channel I had no idea my thing would become Eurovision. But after watching the movie I just loved it, and how much fun Eurovision is!

      @@LegionGames2076 Hey legion... I also noticed some reactors have a "fair usage" disclaimer in the description of their videos, how much that helps I really don't know. As for JESC, it's an acquired taste, not all Eurovision fans are into it, I suppose it's whether you get into things like The Voice Kids to start with. With exceptions, it certainly doesn't compare to the adult contest in terms of performance/vocal quality and staging, but that's just my own personal opinion.
      I noticed you say you prefer ballad type rather than rap. TBH there's not an awful lot of rap or R&B at ESC. If i can add one more to you already extensive. request list, it's the UK 2017 - Lucie Jones. FANTASTIC staging, especially for the UK who tend to not take the contest as seriously as other countries (note that comment from the film "she's from UK, so zero points" - there's a reason for that! This WAS an exception though - ruclips.net/video/Fl1GYTg4GmA/видео.html

    So . Until 1989 (include 1989₪ there was no age rule in eurovisio. For example the winner in 1986 was sandra's Kim from Belgium. And she was 13 year old( btw I recomend you to ract to her entry). On 1989 2 countries send children( france israel)around 11 years old And both finish low.
    So in 1990 the set rule thet the performer must be at least 16 .
    In 2003 start the junior eurovision. In start it was from age 8-15. But now its 9-14.
    Over the year artist which perform in junior eurovision perform also in the adult version.2 example from this year. Destiny who won junior eurovison for Malta in 2015 was the entry for Malta this year( and acauly she gonna represent malta next year) and stefania who's represent the Netherlands in 2016( part of group) the repsent greece in Eurovision 2020&20201
    2. Junior Eurovision is happened evry year around October November.
    And by the way . Unlike the Eurovision. Which cancel this year. Junior eurovision will happen in november
