Do you know about walk mode? On the original controller you hold down the minus key and it will roll the wheels at a walking pace. What controller did you upgrade to? Cheers
I do know about walk mode, but when pushing up hill the walk mode is really not that strong… better to put the bike into assist 1… The display is a DPC 18, and it’s just soooo much better than the stock display
@@inmytravels thanks much. I just bought there. Urus. I’m afraid the tires will be changed pretty quickly on it as well. Lol thanks so much for the info. Makes me feel a little bit better about my purchase. I was familiar with the M 600 motor but not so much the suspension component.
@@southernebikingthe suspension on the Fat HS gets a lot of hate, it they’ve been ok for me… I did replace the front forks, but because I hadn’t set them properly and I blasted them out… the center suspension has leaked too, but here again it’s because I hadn’t set the sag properly. Overall, it’s been such a fun purchase… it’s truly brought moments of joy to my experience. Have fun!
Just got mine. Why did they enclose the motor. The motor was hot, I took off the left cover to give the motor some air, It made a big diffence. There are wires jammed in there so zip tie them in. Maybe I will get fancy and cut air slits, with air intake fins. I would just cut a shape like [ and bend it out a tad and file it, maybe the right side would get normal slits with no fins for exhaust. The look is clean, and motor protected. The bike "needs" programming, and the motor needs mobil 28 grease, when I opened the motor, there was barely any gray grease, the gasket didn't rip. I needed to install an adjustable handlebar stem, much more comfortable. You cannot pedal and throttle at the same time, either or. Pedal with pedal assist or just throttle, if you are holding throttle then pedal, power cuts out. The seat post will only go in 10.25" I cut 2.5" off mine. The display is garbage, buy a better one. All in all I like it, enclosed motor, what were they thinking. The brakes stop very well, they sound grindy though. It says bbs03 while programming, bbs03=bbshd. There is a dual battery device in the tube above the internal battery, model #bb-6080s.
Thanks for the info, I’m sure many will find it helpful as there is not a lot of information on this bike out there. Most of what I’ve come to learn came from the Eunorau Facebook group, and trial and error. Totally agree that the stock display is garbage; my new display is awesome (DPC-18) and is integral in my opinion. I haven’t noticed any heat with the motor; and I like that it is enclosed personally… What regular maintenance do you suggest someone provide to this motor?

How has this bike held up for you?
Still going strong! The only thing that needs changing often are the tires because of riding on streets… I’m still very happy with it!
