Mitra Germershausen don't get me wrong dude, this guy is talented for sure, but theres artists out there that make this guy look like all the mumble rappers out there today... a couple examples to back up my claims: Aesop Rock (no, not a$ap rocky) Earl Sweatshirt and Illogic.
I know its opinion but you trippen if you think Earl Sweatshirt is better than this. To me in hip hop substance, and the subject matter, comes first after that if you got flow, lyricism, and word play then got some real hip hop beats then you the truth and this dude is the truth. His words are influential he is what you call WOKE he speaking on whats going on not some trippy shit that is only good when you drunk like Earl
MsLarrina that might be true with earl, but aesop rock blows this guy out of the water in every single category. I do like this guy though, great setup payoff style bars
Zach DiMundo I'm a huge fan of Illogic and Aesop Rock, but those cats have been in the game for decades. Aesop Rock among my favourite artists of ALL genres in music. But Craft is very good for his age. His raps he records in his home studio are all incredibly dense lyrically and very thoughtful on contemporary issues, specifically in America. I wouldn't compare Craft with Aesop Rock because they are different and both quality in different ways.
