How does that matter though? The giga from the movies was actually just an average giga. Even if gigas can grow longer/taller they still aren’t stronger by any means, they’re faster sure but rex has way more bulk and mass than the giga which would make it stronger in a confrontation. The rex in the movie lost just cause of plot and probably aging as it already fought a number of dinos throughout the series. But again, the giga in the movies is just a regular giga and there’s no reason why it should be stronger in the mod.

But the plot demands a major antagonist so the giga must win according to the plot. Regardless of what genes were spliced into them, both dinos were averagely average and had nothing special to them. @@Nano-vw1wz don't take the Jurassic movies as fact. When talking about actual reality, there weren't many terrestrial creatures that could seriously compete with a T-Rex in a one-on-one setting. Giganotosaurus has a negligible size advantage as well as a more significant speed advantage, but Tyrannosaurus is much more solidly built, has superior vision, and is much *much* stronger offensively with its bite force. Giganotosaurus's primary methods of offense were ramming its prey to knock it down and/or using its claws to slash its prey and wait for it to bleed out. These wouldn't work nearly as well on a Tyrannosaurus since it's stockier and won't be knocked down as easily, and it is more than capable of tanking more than a few slashes, whereas all the T-Rex needs to do is land 1 solid bite.
