I’m glad you were a good sport, man XD They did you dirty with some of those questions, but you don’t have anything to prove (but seriously?? Pasaak??? XD I’m just, messing, good shit all around)
Well if we're being honest, none of the "stans" have been actual stans. This show is for fun. He's more knowledgeable towards this and Marvel, than the others have actually been towards theirs.
@@Jonito_xcx He did decently. I'm a pretty big stan myself. I found the in-universe questions pretty easy but the actor questions or out of universe ones like who inspired Maz Kanata to be stumpers. I felt they grabbed a true stan here though. He knew his stuff.

Trying to eat soup while Tommy tries to type successfully did not end well. YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME This is a beautiful episode. And hard af questions. And bring Dan back!
I'd like to point out that one actress they missed was Ming Na Wen who was in both versions of Mulan, played in Agents of Shield and is currently Fennec Shand in both the Mandalorian and Book of Fett
I don't believe they have ever officially said agents of shield is MCU cannon. Seems silly now with the whole multiverse of everything but even googling it, there does not seem to be anything saying its officially part of the MCU. And I guess you could say Oscar Issac is fringe 3x in marvel between moonknight, Xmen apocalypses and into the spider-verse
@@RianeBane I agree the questions are too tough but they definitely shouldn’t just be ones you can know from the movies. The man’s an expert and wrote books, and even if he wasn’t, there should still be more than just the movies because just watching the movies isn’t “Stan” behavior. Thank you, Smosh, for bringing Dan onto your show! I love Nerdist, and bringing his personality to this channel made me remember why I subscribed to you in the first place: you guys have awesome and hilarious guests!
I like it when they bring in experts on a topic. Dan is hilarious! He was really charming, even if the guy was given some of the most difficult questions ever in this show.
I remember my brother getting the 4 sets over 4 Christmases. The dude is a mad genius, on the spectrum, so he puts his whole heart into a project. He completed the Death Star within 3 hours, the AT-AT took him an hour, the other one was an hour, but the Falcon took him the whole day.
finally you did Star Wars, i waited for that!! Sad that this of all things goes to the internet, but it was some really tricky questions, so no hard feelings :P
I hate to be that guy, but in the last question, you forgot Ming-Na Wen, who is both in the Star wars Universe (Mandalorian, Book of Bobba Fett), as well as MCU in Marvel´s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Glad I'm not the only one to notice this. She is one of my new favorite actors and hit the Disney Trifecta with Shield, Star Wars and voicing a Disney Princess (Mulan).
Honestly I love rewatching this video and seeing at 17:11 tommy getting the answer wrong after the answer being all of his screen for like 8-10 secs of the video 😂😂 he’s hilarious tho and a great guy
This has to be my favorite stan ever on the show. The answers he gave when he couldn't think! absolutely amazing. Thrawnathan Taylor Thomas! LIKE PLEASE THAT'S AMAZING

proud I knew two stan didn’t! even though one of them was just a strong hunch. it just makes sense that episode 2 would be the odd one out with a different pan at the beginning. as for padme’s age when she took the throne, im actually really surprised he didnt know that.
I'm stoked Thrawn was the 'f you' question. He's such a good character. He was in Rebels but it feels like he's the best character the mainstream doesn't acknowledge. In the running for best character of the franchise too imo. Read the books.
My room mate works at Galaxy's Edge and she bought me a little collapsing doll of Admiral Thrawn because she 'figured I HAD to know who the blue guy is from the show' and thought I would like it
These have got to be the hardest questions yet on the show , they details are so small and specific , definitely not typical trivia! Nonetheless, best episode yet ! Loved seeing an actual Stan , especially it being Dan ! Dan fit so well on this , as others have mentioned , I too would love to see Dan back for an MCU one!
This series always reminds me that even for my favorite series, topics, etc. (not including Star Wars for me, but I can understand being a major fan of the series) I've outsourced my memory of a lot of the trivia-question-type details to the internet.
Would honestly be great to have Dan back on another topic he excels at. These questions were wild and he did great with them. Also, considering the Star Wars extended lore, there's so much he must know that goes waaaayy deeper than most of these questions. Difficult one since this topic is so niche, but so vast at the same time. Good job all around 👍
Considering it’s called “Marvels: Agents of Shield,” I would assume it’s in the Marvel Universe. Is it not? Sometimes they do weird stuff and keep some stuff out.
Fantastic episode. I’ve seen all of the Star Wars movies multiple times and I’m all “how the crap does anybody know this? Let alone come up with the questions?!” This one was touuugh.
The answer is yes, yes they could stump me. Thanks again for having me on the show! Time to drink a blue milk and think about what I've done.
Im a die hard star wars fan and those questions were INSANE! Great job! lol
Yeah man I’ve pretty much been obsessed with Star Wars my whole life and those questions made me feel like a newbie.
To be fair, I've been a livelong star wars fan, and I knew almost NON of these questions. They were rediculously hard!
This was a great show Dan, thank you for popping up in the Smoshverse and helping me procrastinate on this fine Friday :)
I’m glad you were a good sport, man XD They did you dirty with some of those questions, but you don’t have anything to prove (but seriously?? Pasaak??? XD I’m just, messing, good shit all around)
I feel like these are the hardest questions ever in stan vs internet
This one especially I’m a fan but I’m not super knowledgeable
He shouldn’t even feel bad about losing. Those questions were insane.
Or it's just a topic you're not an expert in.
@@chand911 star wars is the most I'm "expert" in of all stan vs internet videos. But still I think I have done better in some other videos 😭
Some the ones Dan didn’t know were pretty easy though
i will always appreciate Dan Casey’s comedic timing and knowledge😂
Exactly what I was thinking. “At least he’s funny when he’s fucking up” lol
There’s a pretty drastic difficulty spike in these questions compared to the other episodes tbf
tbf with these types of franchises you could know a ton and still not know enough at the same time
Well if we're being honest, none of the "stans" have been actual stans. This show is for fun. He's more knowledgeable towards this and Marvel, than the others have actually been towards theirs.
@kc myth bro no ond knows the amswer to any of these questions
@kc myth that is unnecessarily harsh lmao
@kc myth they got the most obscure questions possible the fuck are you talking about
These were pretty difficult, really like how gracious Dan was about it
They have to be. Star Wars is common knowledge. A "stan" (garbage term) would know stuff others wouldn't.

I’m not into Star Wars at all but this was very entertaining, and Tommy as “the Internet” was great
He is pretty silly, especially because he can't use a keyboard haha!
I think Dan really added some great humor, too! Superb riffing.
I would love to see a Stan vs Normies with Dan coming back for that too
I absolutely agree. I loved his energy, he was just a very good sport and he had jokesss
Dan comes back to do MCU hard mode questions. lol
I honestly turned it off almost half way when he wasn’t eating any right. They were so difficult! They wanted this Stan to lose.
For MCU!!!!! Yes 100%
Tommy Bones typing again takes the show... So funny!
I can relate. Hey, it gets the job done!

These questions are so hard, there are hardly any people in the comments lying through their teeth about how they knew all the answers!
Tommy's typing is only a tiny, tiny glimpse into the swirling chaos that is his mind
plus needing his glasses
I think Dan should’ve gotten bonus points for the future actors that Shayne didn’t even have listed on his card.
I'd like to point out that one actress they missed was Ming Na Wen who was in both versions of Mulan, played in Agents of Shield and is currently Fennec Shand in both the Mandalorian and Book of Fett
