Parliament of South Africa - “To represent the people, and to ensure government by the people in fulfilling our constitutional functions of passing laws and overseeing executive action”. The EFF says Cosatu, "which represents the majority of black people", is being represented by a white person. The EFF said the white representative of Cosatu represent "the views of white people". *****
The Constitution affords all South Africans the right to see and hear what happens in Parliament.
For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take stories forward.
However, we will NOT condone the following:
Racism (including offensive comments based on ethnicity and nationality)

Religious intolerance

Derogatory language
Comments inciting violence.

Asking why COSATU was represented by a white person is really racist. Is that EFF implying that because he is white he cannot represent a good cause? You don't understand that whites only fight for something where they can get something out for themselves. Other parties, especially the ANC, forget that EFF was constitutionally voted into parliament. They represent the views of those who voted for them. EFF doesn't have to play by your rules, they're the opposition.

The EFF concern is correct. The land issue is to mend the current racial devide. The cosatu representative utterances were not supporting the land issue as per the ANC policy. Cosatu is alliance to ANC. The afriforum in the house is fully white represented and defending the land issue. Therefore it is logic to suspect a confusion in 'white' cosatu representative. The issue of land racially devide the nation and therefore we cannot address it without racial highlights.

Face the facts for the last 3 to 4 years life has become more difficult . The poor have become poorer while the politicians have become more corrupt. They don't care about u and me just their own pockets. This is happening not only in South Africa but all around the world. I have my own business cause I lost my job but I never failed I worked hard and have 8 African and 2 indian staff. We work from home we eat ,use the toilets , use the same cups,spoons,plates.U come home we can eat from the same bunnychow. Why has everything got to do with colour. We should be humans first, do good be good to all.

If land reform fails, it is because of people like the EFF representative who are so blinded by hate that they do not even hear what the other person is saying. If she had listened to the COSATU representative, she would have heard that COSATU is in favour of land expropriation without compensation (but they merely want some rules to govern this process).
Here are things that I want to hear more about:
-What rules will be in place to make sure that the process of acquiring land will be fair?
-What rules will be in place so that people will not be hurt or threatened in the process?
-What rules will be in place to make sure that corrupt politicians/powerful groups will not take the land for themselves?
-Is it even necessary to amend the constitution for this?
-And if we amend the constitution, what safeguards will be in place to ensure that the government is not able to later on expropriate land from anyone, anywhere and at anytime?

Racism is immoral it's not a crime. It's no reason to not employ people. Most South Africans Black, Coloured, Indian and White are racist. It is hypocritical not to employ people because they are racist, unless they are harming someone.
I like it when people engage each other factually, with minimal emotions. Here is my principle, we need to share resources equally....no man is superior than tge other in the face of GOD. He loves us equally white and BLACK. If expropriation of land is the fair way of making corrections, let it be...if there is another way, let it be. My focus is that we should correct the wrongs so that we can move forward on clean accounts.
