If you've read "Wide Sargasso Sea" by Jean Rhys, the "Madwoman"'s name is Antoinette Cosway, before she becomes the first Mrs Rochester. Needless to say, this is a gorgeous acoustic version of what was already a superb song.

I watched the 1997 film on YT yesterday and loved it, it's the most interesting love story I've ever known of. I recommend watching the film (the 1997 adaptation or another one) to all of you.

And there is huge book called "Madwoman in the Attic", one of the best examples of feminist literary criticism. It focuses on the role of female in Victorian novel. (Surely, it also examines Bronte Sisters)
