Sarah please take care of your back pain! I had a persistent back ache a few years ago like you do and exactly at the same spot. After trying multiple ways to cure the pain, it would temporarily subside but come back again. My doctor finally asked me to get an MRI done and it turned out that my spine was collapsing and it was compressing the nerves which was causing pain! I had to get spinal fusion surgery! Not saying this could be your case and I pray it's not. But definitely wanna recommend you to get an MRI done just to be safe!
