Just like in the first RDR 8 years earlier, I found myself many times just hunting in the wilderness for hours, forgetting that there were actual quests to do.
Exactly the same here, I was a kid when RDR1 came out and I was obsessed every time the trailers came on TV. I'd hunt constantly in singleplayer, and then try and message folk in my session online asking if they wanted to go a bear hunt lol.

No game has hooked me like this one. When you get high just wandering through the forest, fields, setting up camps in the best cities. A game that does not require quests is a masterpiece
I have not been able to go back to this game after the loss of Arthur, best game ever made though. I didn't expect it to impact me the way it did, epic story and characters. It's a masterpiece!

What kind of computer do you have to buy in order to get it to run this smoothly?
I think a entry level pc now around 800 bucks should run this smootly, or a ps5 😁
Do you really play games on a HDD is it not super slow at loading games? I hope not XD I have a PC with similar specs! I have a Zotac 4090 64GB DDR5 6400MT/s i9 12900K and 7.5 TB of NVME storage no spinning rust drives here.

I loved RDR2 but the ambient music doesn't come close to the one in RDR1 :/
So the one thing I missed in RDR2 was that memorable, amazing ambient music. Cholla Springs, Tall Trees, Mexico, that legandary whistling in Rattlesnake Hollow...
The ambient music in RDR2 isn't bad, its good. But its on the same level as the ambient music from RDR1 sadly :/
