Thanks for this vid...Now I know why my Aquatec screwed up after 2 years... All leading to prematurely burning out of the battery due to first the sticking switch and then getting crust build up on the lower components, just like on yours (also I noticed a slightly burned capacitor on the flip side of the board as well) - all due to calcification and corrosion on the componentry from all the water traveling through and down that flimsily designed shell (My motor was starting to rust a bit too)! No more Aquawrecks for me, mate! Therefore, I decided to get a completely different designed model Philips/Norelco wet/dry unit now... I'll see how long this one lasts! Fortunately this time, I purchased a retailer warranty and registered the receipt...
I have the same model I was cleaning in side the trimmer head and the blades came apart now I can't find the correct way to.put them back can you help... It's the pop-up trimmer blade
@@TryNewThingsSL the small blade is the one the oscillates and the large one is the fixed one. The 2 faces of the blades will show wear marks that will help you identify them as the 2 faces that rub together. Then you only have 2 options how it would install. Hope that helps
Hey I've got the same shaver but the motor wont turn the mechanisms past a quarter turn. Any idea what the problem could be? Everything else is working fine and the motor and battery still work but the motor will turn the mechanisms then stop after a quarter turn...
@@m3sca1 I've cleaned everything and flicked out as much stuff as possible. I haven't taken the pcb out but i think ill have to do that to get to the motor. I can physically turn the mechanisms myself, but not past a point without forcing them massively.

You may have to run the motor for a brief moment to align the cam to put it back on. It is pretty straight forward.

Check the battery voltage. If it is low then reolace it. Search the board for corrosion and try and charge it. How old is it?
