This is one of the reasons I love TF2. The idea that you can drop everything and have a dance party in the middle of a literal war zone, and even the enemy can join in…
Then back to the murder just as spontaneously as the dance party.
that's kind of realistic, too. There used to be befriending between german and french troops in WWI, when the soldiers had not much to hold on to and felt pretty close to each other. It was all at a great displeasure of command vertical but it was not easy to discipline actual cannon fodder.

tf2 has to be the most fun game out there, like the gameplay is really fun, but all the taunts and goofy shit make the game 10 times better, and the community is so nice as well
update: the game is more fun than ever and i still stand by what i said, tf2 has the best community.

No community will ever be perfect. It’s objectively impossible to have any online community that is 100% positive with no bad apples. It’s unfathomable to expect such with such a diverse group of people from all different walks of life. All things considered, TF2 is a lot tamer than many other communities I’ve poked around in. Probably because barring competitive mode, the game really is laid back.

As someone who started to play yesterday and didn't even play with people yet, I don't know if I'm scared or relieved
it almost looked choreographed the way all of the rest of red team slowly moved in as the chorus built up. this is one of those "tf2 moments" you don't get in any other game.

0:32 - After the Heavy was killed, one medic checked his ribs.

I love the fact that near the end someone starts shooting off screen, demo stops dancing and charges at them. All you can see is the screen shake and the Medic icon appears in the corner
Team Fortress 2 is just one of those games that has the perfect amount of goofy and gameplay. You really can’t compare any other game to this masterpiece

Everybody's talking about how the sniper just slides from around the corner, but like, the moment when some other sniper starts shooting from around the corner and Demoman just pulls out his sword and charges at him so hard that the entire screen shakes
And Pyro follows him in perfect sync
And everybody else just continues dancing
This shows how peaceful the TF2 community is despite some toxics. This was beautiful to watch.

I've been lucky enough to run into people with my same mods a few times. It's very rare, but when it happens it's a fantastic feeling.
I just started blasting music and then a bunch of people decided to form a medic coalition and terrorise the enemy team, I believe you just need to be catchy enough for other people to follow your gag.
