    POS. Have one on the bench now. WTH is it with mesa putting 400v caps in 430v circuit?

    Those two 10k caps that are in the switching matrix were leaking like crazy in mine. Caused major arcing issues. Was that 6.4 ohm carbon resistor in spec? Mine read 13. I replaced it with a 6.8 carbon film. Makes the led's light up better. I'm surprised that the plastic clip from PT hasn't melted. Mine went south.a known issue with this amp. Soldered leads directly to pcb. There were other problems with mine as well.

    I think i have the same issue. Cant use my tri axis and amp at the moment 😔. I have a video of the issue, write here if you wanna see whst going on. Standby mode, no issue. But when power on, sparkles fly

    Cat piss and rotting fish smell is accurate! They always smell like one or the other..
