Alberta Value-Added Wood Products Program

The Government of Alberta is collaborating with Alberta Wood WORKS! and the Alberta Forest Products Association to administer the Alberta Value-Added Wood Products Program. In 2021, Alberta’s government invested $2.25 million over five years to fund research, development and innovation in the province’s value-added wood products market, encouraging new ways to use Alberta’s sustainably produced and responsibly managed forest resource.
