The Panthers are happy to have you, PoMo!!! Let's bring the Cup BACK to Florida, just a little further south this time. You really made this Panthers team championship-caliber.
Probably one of the most genuine couches in the league. I enjoyed every minute of his time here in Winnipeg. It takes an incredibly brave and intelligent individual to makes this kind of decision. Best of luck PoMo. 👍
Anyone wondering what class is, watch this media availability. In an NHL full of classless people, this man needs to be celebrated for his morals and ethics.
It was great while you were the coach. I guess you know when you know. You know yourself best 👌 ✌️🇨🇦. Thank you for the years you gave the JETS!!! I enjoyed you're presence.
@@wehehe7094 winning isn't always everything. Sometimes it's time for a change but it doesn't mean he can't be a good coach elsewhere. He'll stand on his feet somewhere✌️
@@wehehe7094 Considering you've likely never met Paul Maurice or spent any time with the man, I'd say the fact you called him a loser with no evidence of such, makes it abundantly clear who the immature the child is in this short-lived internet exchange.
Morgan Freeman: On the 2024th year after our Lord, on the 24th day of June….Paul Maurice and his rag tag team of crazy Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup.
Thank you Paul. All the best. Take a break recharge and do what you want! 26 years coaching in the NHL, not bad eh! You did what you could with this team, including the deepest playoff run in our history. Stay classy! The league needs more Paul Maurice's.....hmmm maybe a future as an hockey analyst ? The guy can talk hockey :)
- "He will be missed." No. - "What a great guy and coach." Great guy yes, great coach NO. - "Hopefully another team picks him up" Will happen, RIP for the next 5-10 years to that team.
Just goes to prove that sometimes a new voice is needed, and sometimes that voice needs a new place. Paul Maurice came back to the league without missing a year. He transformed a regular season champion into a Stanley Cup champion in his second year. The Panthers and Paul worked after Florida got swept after winning the Presidents Cup. Now it's time for the Jets to take that next step.

June 24th, 2024. He did it, Panthers win the Cup
Thank you for everything PoMo! You will always be a jet!
When I grow up I wanna be like Maurice
Loved what he has done for this franchise and thankful to have him as a coach. Very classy man and very genuine too. Best of luck PoMo!!
What did he do for the franchise?

Very classy move! Total respect for Paul Maurice.
Will miss his interviews. He really spoke about the game and you would learn things. Not those canned responses that are typical in NHL media.
Love you Paul. Wish you the best Winnipeg. You guys deserve one.
Always loved him as a coach. Realizes he's near the end with this team. A very cerebral coach, lots of knowledge. He'll be fine.

He did something for your team that made you proud of him? What did you enjoy about him? Did he win a S.cup?

@@brendahay-beer8466 Yes what was I thinking, they shouldn’t have hired him to try and win more games.
I've learned so much from Paul Maurice, it's nuts. I wish him all the best in his next chapter. Hockey is better with Maurice.

@@GPT-eg9dmhe’s in the SC finals with his new team. Jets have an apparent leadership problem in the room. Maurice wasn’t the problem there.

Stanley Cup Champion!!!!
If the players light a fire under their own ass and go further than ever before this was the right move, if they turn out to be duds, it wasn’t.😞
This fan base didn't deserve him.
Meh. We’ll miss ya, PoMo. Good luck to Dave Lowry; He’ll need it!
Blackhawks?
Hopefully not, the Finnish players are screwed in Maurice-led teams

Was about time. He's a bad overrated coach, good riddance.
Kinda didn't age well, huh?
