  • Hi everyone,
    We made this video walking in beautiful Dalyan which is about an hour drive from Fethiye and famous for its ancient rock tombs, the ruins of the ancient city of Kaunos and Iztuzu Plaji (aka Turtle Beach). You can also take a mud bath in Dalyan which is another popular activity.
    To get to Dalyan you can either drive or take the bus from Fethiye to Ortaca (about an hour) and then connect to the dolmus (approx. 20 min). Both rides can be paid for with the Kentcard which is used in the entire province of Mugla for the public transportation system and hence pretty convenient. It is also cheaper to pay for your ride with the card instead of using cash.
    Dalyan is a small but picturesque little town with lots of options for hotels, restaurants, shops, etc. It's well worth a day trip or even staying overnight to explore all the attractions.
    We hope that you will enjoy this video!

    Oh, what a big town compared to the quiet village of the 80s! One place I know: The schoolyard with the high old trees at what was once the "main road" to the "Gel gör Restaurant" and today to the ferry across the river (?) Opposite of the school friends of mine had the "Begonvil Restaurant" in their garden - some steps away from the nice "Caretta Caretta Pansiyon" where we stayed in summer and autumn. Whenever we had holidays we went to Dalyan! ❤👍❤

    Why is it so quiet ? Where are tourists in this lovely town ? Is it because of covid ?

    • @YashNico
      @YashNico  3 года назад

      Yes, I guess so. There are way less international tourists in the area this year because of the pandemic.

      Is it the same in marmaris and fethiye and the other cities in turkey ? I am planning to visit dalyan for 5 days with a group of friends in september. I don't like crowds but at z same time we dont wanna be alone. We came once to dalyan (tour from marmaris) and we fell in love with it. So do u recommend dalyan in these circonstances ?
