- We met up with American/British formation BC Camplight during Motel Mozaique on a rooftop in the centre of Rotterdam. In between rain showers, the band played an intimate and dreamy version of 'Just Because I Love You', from their latest album "How To Die in the North"out on Bella Union.

A band like this gets overlooked because certain people who control radio, just want 'The next big thing' and if they don't think this band is it, then they go on to some moron who looks great or has that horrible Houston/Aguilera/Beyoncé warble of vocal gymnastics in their voice instead of something beautifully organic that jells like this.
What a strange thing to do, plug in all the instruments but no mics for the vocals. Hence you can't hear the vocals properly. ....And why does it have to be on a rooftop?
I like it. The instruments are only plugged in cos they're not acoustic instruments. It sounds like what music sounds like when some people are just playing at a party or whatever. Sounds great.
