@@leidys3896 basically, what the person said; it actually isnt journaling, its considered as art journaling, scrapbooking, and junk journaling, but here is what i think it means bullet journaling: basically personalizing a dotted grid notebook into like your own planner. journaling, scrapbooking, and junk journaling: is basically gathering random pieces of art you enjoy including stickers and washi tape and your artistic skills into a notebook (basically what the vid showed) journaling itself: is kinda just like writing down stuff like a diary. a lot of people mis interpret this, so its kinda frustrating. i had to explain this a lot to people but i hope you understand what i mean ^^
My occupational therapist energy is so triggered by how these art journal artist types are always using the pads of their fingers and their palms to stick stickers and paper down. It's not the most efficient way to adhere things to paper and doesnt look like anything is stuck down properly. I get people want to show off their nails but it can lead to muscle pain in the hands in the long term. Fingertips are extra sensitive and adapted for fine motor skills like cutting and sticking. So these videos of whole palms being used to carry out finer tasks makes me wonder if some therapy is needed.
It’s just a type of journaling, why in the world would they need a therapist for doing something they enjoy? Plus, they’re not trying to show off their nails, they do it so it makes it more pleasing. This type of journaling is also very calming to lots of people, and the hand movements just make the spread look more delicate. If you don’t like this type of journaling, then don’t watch it and don’t tell the people who do journaling that they need a therapist.
My 18th time watching the cause this is so satisfying
Fr so satisfying and calming
