Getting lots of "i can't believe you forgot this brand" comments...there are more brands out there that are owned by women that i didn't forget!!!! but it would've been pretty hard to feature them all guys!!
I just wrote this below "YAAAASSSSS! notifications failed me and I still found my way. 🙏🏽 Last time I was this early, I was prematurely born. these videos have inspired me to rock more than just lipstick. I ❤️ how much Jackie Aina supports and showcases lesser known brands as well as commercial products without compromising her dignity. She give us the #facts! . Jackie is one of the ONLY Beauty Gurus on RUclips that I trust. I credit her for opening my eyes to another means of self expression. 💋"
you're that bitch... i love you!!! i talk about you to all of my deeper complected clients because i know you can really help them! thank you for always educating ya girl!!!! keep doing you boo. you're gonna change the beauty community for woman like you.
I will never understand why wanting to be equal can be construed as wanting dominance. Supporting female entrepreneurs and brands in general isn’t putting men down. There are plenty of male entrepreneurs and brands who are doing well and will continue to. But giving attention to good brands who are female driven only motivates more women to go after what they want and shows people these brands can be just as successful with great products of quality and creativity. She isn’t mentioning female brands just to mention them (there are so many more) she’s mentioning ones she’s used and tried previously and believes they are truly good products and is highlighting the fact that they are female owned. I love the concept of this video and loved that you gave the background of each of the women you spoke about! Would love to see a part two! Thank you for not only talking about the makeup and fun side of beauty but also talking about representation and issues that are more deep than vanity. ❤️
Your comment about being a a women with a life threatening illness, really struck home for me!! I have a aggressive, and severe tumor in my jaw. And I'm going in for surgery this january, I'll be in the ICU for a few days, and the hospital for 2 weeks. but ya girls got faith!!! I'll make it through this!!
All the people asking where's this brand or that brand lemme help....SHE ONLY HAS ONE FACE. She can't use ALL those brands in one full face. It doesn't mean she dislikes any or forgot any. Jackie is a queen. But she's also human👑
Is it crazy that this video has a lot more positive comments than the black owned makeup video? no one is saying "you're segregating yourself by supporting your own" but I swear that's all I saw in the other videos comment section.
drake. How is that toxic? The idea of supporting other women regardless of whether or not what they do is harmful is toxic, but the general idea of supporting each other instead of tearing each other down is most certainly the opposite of toxic.
Helen Swinbank Yeah that’s not true. I’ve been subscribed since Jackie had around 500 subscribers, and I’m not a big fan of the “theme song” she created. I’m a fan of Jackie, I just don’t like that intro.
I think it’s amazing that you told a part of each of these woman’s stories. Cashmere Nicole is a bomb ass name! And it’s incredible that she overcame cancer and started her own business. You’re so incredible, yourself, Jackie! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Y’all be hating on my girl Jackie too much. I’d rather watch her spread love and positivity towards women and keep it real with what’s good and what’s not then watch someone who’s gonna shove promo codes down my throat every five seconds. 🙄
Thank you!! I don’t get all the criticism for shining a light on positive women. Reading these comments gives me a headache, I don’t know how Jackie deals with this daily.
I could care less about what y’all saying in the comments. WOMEN ARE UNDERREPRESENTED IN ALMOST EVERYTHING, especially minority women. So with that being said....THANK YOU JACKIE! We’ll still buy from male owned companies and yes makeup is universal and can be made or used by everybody; however, it is refreshing to learn about women owned brands as well because most of these companies I didn’t even know about. So again thank you Jackie ❤️
It's funny hearing about all these strong women and how you don't understand how theyre so strong when YOU are one of the strongest woman I 'know'. You talked about your hard moments and look where you are right now. 1.7 million subscribers girl! YOU have impacted 1.7 million people wayyy more than just makeup. I love you so much keep doing what you're doing
I just realized that Jackie only has 1 million followers and honestly I am shocked! Gurl RUclips has been stealing your subscribers or something bec there is no way someone as talented, honest, funny and meaningful as you doesn’t have 10 million. Regardless your channel is so important. You highlight significant issues in the beauty community like women and race issues and I applaud you for using your platform to address these topics. Thank you so much, keep doing you hun! ❤️❤️❤️

I love you sooooo much, not only are you right down the realist but you upload often and you do bomb looks but you do videos like this like seriously. I'm obsessed with you. Also you always say things that make me crack up, I just want to highlight the one that made me spit out my water: "lashes are still drying, it's a process and you have to trust it" LMAO IDK why that made me laugh extraaa
Absolutely nothing wrong with using and supporting female owned or black owned brands! I hate when people say it’s separating us more. It is great to be conscious of how many diverse groups there are, and we need to learn to appreciate instead of appropriate! ❤️ Love you Jackie!
i hope it's okay if I throw in the names of some of my faves? I totally get why they're not in this video 'cause I have totally wedged myself in a very niche area of makeup, and also because most of them are lipstick brands. Sugarpill Cosmetics (founded by Amy Doan), Necromancy Cosmetica (Owned by a Puerto Rican woman named Des, and they're currently trying to move the company to salem, mass from San Juan), Bite Beauty (co-owned by Kendo and Susanne Langmuir), Black Moon Cosmetics (owned by Tina Markary/Tina Munster). and of course they're all cruelty free
That bit on Anastasia made me cry. My mom and I have a beauty business and my mom has put her all into it. We are going through a huge change and she is a little down lately. There is some hope still. We will get there and I hope we get to a place where we can see our products on your channel. Thank you for being inspirational Auntie J!
I love your videos and I just have to share some of that love with you. I feel a major connection to you and I'm not a woman of color and I think it's one of things that you do that makes your channel so amazing. You push for inclusion and expansion and empowerment for all women and create looks and videos that everyone can love and connect to. You are always honest and true and entertaining and a joy to watch. Your message is the embodiment of what I think makeup brands should strive to be. Keep doing you and bringing the fantastic content!
I’ve been having a really bad mental health night and idk what it was but something made me just open up your alert and watch even though i didnt want to really do anything. but you made me smile and laugh so hard and im feeling a little better now. Thank you for being amazing
Jackie, you are such an awesome soul. You are so genuine and transparent. Plus you have me laughing through every single video, I don’t know how you do it but never stop it girl!!
Zelly Penn you know i totally forgot about this comment and i definitely see how i did NOT word that how i meant to. I was trying to say that a lot of people seem to think that womens rights is something about hating men, when it's not.
Zelly Penn ....and that still doesnt completely clarify does it. Sorry lol basically i support jackies stance and i dont think just because we want to be supporting women, doesnt mean i hate men
Claire Hisako I promise your original comment was worded correctly and your replies tryna clarify it are too. I got what you were saying from the start and I agree and also think the other girl was agreeing because she said I know right wtf or something like that as in she agrees and wtf to the people thinking opposite
Totally irrelevant to the video but I was having a stressful couple of hours and had a panic attack at 4am, watched some calming videos, but after watching auntie Jackie I completely felt better so thank you beaut 💗
Started doing your lil trick with setting the primer AND JESUS LORD MY FOUNDATION LASTED EVEN LONGER! Love you Miss Jackie!! And thank you for the tips!
Finally a beauty influencer who doesn’t just do pointless “truth or dare” videos 🙄 it’s an incredible talent to be able to inspire others with your work. Love your channel!
I love how you integrate social justice and beauty! It’s the main reason I love you and your channel, although the main reason I subscribed was the sass. I do love that, too 🙌
I love learning about makeup and the background information about companies. It’s wayyy more interesting than people just talking about their day for 30 minutes. And they tried to say makeup videos don’t teach you anything, “you’ll never learn anything.” WELL 👏🏾LOOK 👏🏾 AT 👏🏾 ME👏🏾 NOW👏🏾
I'm currently on a auntie jackie binge. I really like your makeup here - I'm not one for FULL coverage but I would honestly go out and but those Kat Von D products.
Reason #1,576,928 why I love you. It's so beautiful to see how supportive you are with other successful women within your industry. I love to see other deserving and talented women shine. There's room for all of us at the table. 💜
Damn y’all never satisfied. And y’all wonder why celebrities quit performing for y’all ungrateful asses. Jackie posts a video and y’all always complain. Ima pray for y’all cuz y’all clearly fighting some demons.
Girl your make up be like whoa! I am learning so much. I am 42 and just started wearing makeup over the last few weeks. I have made some mistakes but i am learning so much from you. Thanks
When you asked the question I KNEW, girl I KNEW....PAT MCGRATH!! I’ve been following her for years!! I’ve been waiting for you to get to this palette for the longest. I’m so happy you stood up for Mother Pat and you killed it!! You made me so happy I bought it.
For the longest time you were one of the youtubers that I never really clicked on BUT please note this is probably a result of the YT obsession coming in waves. Anyway, Idk why I hadn't watched you before but once I came to learn about your unapologetic mindset, and then I witnessed how you decide to utilize your platform to advocate for things that align with your morals.... GIRL that is when you got me. I fucking love your mindset. Say how you feel and don't be sorry. Girls need more women with that mindset.
I'mstill watching and i can just see how much research you did and how much effort this video took and I'm just, I'm just in awe. (SPEAKING ON WOMEN'S ISSUES AAAAAAND supporting brands created by women????). I know that by virtue of being a popular RUclipsr that you must get so much flack, yet you still manage to be humble, honest, and positive. All of these things contribute to your credibility as an influential figure, and you should know that evidently you're doing a few things right. I feel like when I watch you be yourself, its almost like it sends a message like, "hey yeah this is life and I'm here living because wtf else am I supposed to do?" Copious amounts of respect. I have been subscribed for a few months (?) but GIRL once you earn my loyalty you've got it. You're the realest, I'm here for it.
There’s always that group of people that’s so fixated on finding everything that could be wrong about the video. Like why is it so hard for people to just enjoy the video? Why must we find a fault in something that’s meant to only be positive.
Even if Anastasia's already super successful I love buying her products because she's Romanian like me and it's really inspiring seeing successful Romanian women make it in the industry! (Her name is Anastasia Soare - meaning Anastasia Sun)
I really can’t believe people are really TRYING to call you out about ANYTHING mentioned in this video. You did an amazing job giving facts, and background on the brands’ creators/founders and I really appreciate this video! It’s true, in this life, women, no matter how successful, will most of the time be seen as inferior to men and it’s super important for us women to, instead of talking down each other, build each other up and support one another. I really love what you’ve done with this video ad giving recognition to female-owned brands. You’ve quickly become one of my favorite youtubers ❤️❤️
Please do a follow up on this !! I loved hearing about all of these amazing and successful women’s backstories and how inspiring they truly are ! Killing the game like always, jackie !
Getting lots of "i can't believe you forgot this brand" comments...there are more brands out there that are owned by women that i didn't forget!!!! but it would've been pretty hard to feature them all guys!!
Jackie Aina what did they expect you to do include all the woman-owned brands in the world?😂😭love you so much Jackie, keep doing you
Jackie I fucken love your videos!! When you put the green on top of the blue 🎉👀😮😍

All the people asking where's this brand or that brand lemme help....SHE ONLY HAS ONE FACE. She can't use ALL those brands in one full face. It doesn't mean she dislikes any or forgot any.
Jackie is a queen. But she's also human👑
Idk why "SHE ONLY HAS ONE FACE" made me laugh so much, but it did, lol...
Is it crazy that this video has a lot more positive comments than the black owned makeup video? no one is saying "you're segregating yourself by supporting your own" but I swear that's all I saw in the other videos comment section.
because it’s more socially acceptable to be pro-feminism than it is to be pro-black
I'm seeing a lot of negative comments here too though. lol But, I agree with +Ariana. That shit is sad af.
Kenetrice Nichole there definitely aren't as many negative comments on this one, it's more than just sad lol
Fatimah Brown girl yes!!!!
Fatimah Brown *CLAPS UNCONTROLLABLY*
Women must support women and we should always give ladies the same respect that men get.
Cåmėrøń Röšē the way you phrase it makes it sound like you can't support women and fight for equality at the same time...
Lisa Locke Men don't do that to each other my ass. Some of the nastiest passive aggressive people I know are men. Take that bullshit elsewhere.
We do get the same respect that men get
Sophia Monperrus we think we do, but we don’t that’s the sad thing.
drake. How is that toxic? The idea of supporting other women regardless of whether or not what they do is harmful is toxic, but the general idea of supporting each other instead of tearing each other down is most certainly the opposite of toxic.
JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE. I SWEAR I GET SO TURNT WHEN YOU DO YOUR INTRO!!!!!
Ishan Ali noooo lol you gotta do it like JACKAY' JACKAY' JACKAY' JACAKY' JACKAAAAY'
Ishan Ali same 😭
IF UR NOT SINGING ALONG, UR NOT A TRUE FAN 😤✊👌🙌🙏
Helen Swinbank Yeah that’s not true. I’ve been subscribed since Jackie had around 500 subscribers, and I’m not a big fan of the “theme song” she created. I’m a fan of Jackie, I just don’t like that intro.
Ishan Ali Me too! Lol

Cashmere Nicole is such a beautiful name right 😍 Thank you for watching Courtney ❤️

I love the idea and concept of this video. this has to be one of the most iconic videos on youtube
Blaine Dillard ❤️❤️Agreed!!!❤️❤️
Y’all be hating on my girl Jackie too much. I’d rather watch her spread love and positivity towards women and keep it real with what’s good and what’s not then watch someone who’s gonna shove promo codes down my throat every five seconds. 🙄
Thank you!! I don’t get all the criticism for shining a light on positive women. Reading these comments gives me a headache, I don’t know how Jackie deals with this daily.
Jackie is really coming through with the facts!! 🙌🏽 I gotta take notes!

Bre Williams damn i was like why is Zane watching beauty stuff😂
I could care less about what y’all saying in the comments. WOMEN ARE UNDERREPRESENTED IN ALMOST EVERYTHING, especially minority women. So with that being said....THANK YOU JACKIE! We’ll still buy from male owned companies and yes makeup is universal and can be made or used by everybody; however, it is refreshing to learn about women owned brands as well because most of these companies I didn’t even know about. So again thank you Jackie ❤️
ThatGal MK oh stfu with your sjw bullshit
Sophia Monperrus 🤮 find a life. For your own sake not mine.
This is the type of content I enjoy watching. Women EMPOWERING each other instead of dragging each other down.
I love you so much keep doing what you're doing
i am incredibly grateful, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Ahh I just saw this😭😭 Love you Jackie ❤️️
I just realized that Jackie only has 1 million followers and honestly I am shocked! Gurl RUclips has been stealing your subscribers or something bec there is no way someone as talented, honest, funny and meaningful as you doesn’t have 10 million. Regardless your channel is so important. You highlight significant issues in the beauty community like women and race issues and I applaud you for using your platform to address these topics. Thank you so much, keep doing you hun! ❤️❤️❤️
In Iceland, it is illegal to pay women less than men for the same job 🙌🏻🙌🏼🙌🏽🙌🏾🙌🏿 Also, feminism means that women are equal to men, and not that they are better than men. Also Jackie, Anastasia’s last name is Soare, which means sun in Romanian!
It’s also illegal in the US
Synthrax not true. Employers can choose what to pay an individual, regardless of their position. Often it means choosing to pay a woman less than a male in the same position. Sorry, there’s just no laws about wage equality, unless you count there being a minimum wage.
Bio Notes wow that is so sad and I’m so disappointed in our country that it’s still like this...
Bio Notes That is incorrect. The gender pay gap exists because it is the average pay for all men and all women and on average women work less or work in worse payed jobs, like teachers and doctors.
It's illegal in America as well
*LOVE* being a stan of a feminist icon
Renata Valentina Dude chill.
Renata Valentina we get it, you’re edgy and “not like the other girls”.
Instead of feminism there should be more equality if women want to be equal why are they separating themselves from men?
Ezer exactly!
Ezer feminism today IS equality. Back in the day feminism had a much different meaning but today equality and feminism are one and the same, just a different name.
TOTALLY HERE FOR IT! Women should support eachother! 🙌🏾👊🏾
Especially now with all these weird things happening in office (I live in America)
YASSSS
yodahchronicles 👏👏👏👏
More women who own their own makeup company:
Eugenia Weston- owner of Senna Cosmetics; she actually mentored Anastasia (ABH) so she’s the OG brow queen
Anastasia V. Sparrow- owner of Viseart
NudeStix- owned by a mother and her two daughters
I love you sooooo much, not only are you right down the realist but you upload often and you do bomb looks but you do videos like this like seriously. I'm obsessed with you. Also you always say things that make me crack up, I just want to highlight the one that made me spit out my water: "lashes are still drying, it's a process and you have to trust it" LMAO IDK why that made me laugh extraaa
love you boo
Jackie Aina love you more 😩❤️🖤 Happy thanksgiving
Absolutely nothing wrong with using and supporting female owned or black owned brands! I hate when people say it’s separating us more. It is great to be conscious of how many diverse groups there are, and we need to learn to appreciate instead of appropriate! ❤️ Love you Jackie!
This video is blooming with support and positivity and I'm here for it 👌👏
Can we have an intro song with uncle Dennis singing Jackie Jackie Jackie with his accent???
Arpi Hovs This is such a cute suggestion, now I want it too 😂
milkflavoured I’m here for it!! Lol
Make this happen!!
Girll yesss👏👏😂😂
Auntie jackie better make it happen before I start suing
i hope it's okay if I throw in the names of some of my faves? I totally get why they're not in this video 'cause I have totally wedged myself in a very niche area of makeup, and also because most of them are lipstick brands. Sugarpill Cosmetics (founded by Amy Doan), Necromancy Cosmetica (Owned by a Puerto Rican woman named Des, and they're currently trying to move the company to salem, mass from San Juan), Bite Beauty (co-owned by Kendo and Susanne Langmuir), Black Moon Cosmetics (owned by Tina Markary/Tina Munster). and of course they're all cruelty free

It’s surprising how many women are against supporting women owned brands 🤷🏾♀️ it’s sad

I AM SO HERE FOR THIS. I love all of your ‘___ owned’ topics so much
+Mariah Leonard - thank you Mariah 💖
Auntie how did you not realize that your eyeshadow perfectly matches your flannel 🗣🗣🗣 !!!
youre way too underrated wish more people were taking advantage of these amazing videos!
I love how you integrate social justice and beauty! It’s the main reason I love you and your channel, although the main reason I subscribed was the sass. I do love that, too 🙌
It's not social justice, it's just common sense.
Unfortunately a lot of people don't have that
Part two please 💅🏼
I’m loving this video! Can you do it with more affordable brands next time, if it’s possible?
women owned AND affordable AND dark skin friendly is really asking for a LOT lmao
Jackie Aina wish that wasn't the case :((
i believe some of them are affordable abh is rhiannas is to, make up can be but so inexpensive
"Affordable" my left nut! More like average priced, which is still pretty expensive
Jackie Aina lmao that makes sense, sorry girl. Just forget that I asked for the affordable version😂 still loving this video tho!
I love learning about makeup and the background information about companies. It’s wayyy more interesting than people just talking about their day for 30 minutes. And they tried to say makeup videos don’t teach you anything, “you’ll never learn anything.” WELL 👏🏾LOOK 👏🏾 AT 👏🏾 ME👏🏾 NOW👏🏾
Loving Melanin lplppi
I'm currently on a auntie jackie binge. I really like your makeup here - I'm not one for FULL coverage but I would honestly go out and but those Kat Von D products.

Reason #1,576,928 why I love you. It's so beautiful to see how supportive you are with other successful women within your industry. I love to see other deserving and talented women shine. There's room for all of us at the table. 💜
Had too many glasses of wine at dinner today and was really vibing to your JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE JACKIE 🎼🎶🎵
Thanks
Since there are so many women owned brands I would love to this as a series on your channel!
Jackie looking like a whole meallll 😍❤ the look was gorgeous and the video's meaning was also so inspirational, I love herrr!
The fact that your brows were so easy to fill here makes mircoblading so worth it! Mine are still healing but I am so happy I did it.
When you asked the question I KNEW, girl I KNEW....PAT MCGRATH!! I’ve been following her for years!! I’ve been waiting for you to get to this palette for the longest. I’m so happy you stood up for Mother Pat and you killed it!! You made me so happy I bought it.
loved hearing all the stories of these amazing women!!!!!
I love Jackie Aina's personality so much. She's definitely one of the most sophisticated youtubers
Props for supporting women. You’re such a positive person.
+Em J - i appreciate you so much!!!!!
+Em J - come by and say hi more often ❤️

Jadene's Spot will do thank you have a great thanks giving 😊😊😊😊
There’s always that group of people that’s so fixated on finding everything that could be wrong about the video. Like why is it so hard for people to just enjoy the video? Why must we find a fault in something that’s meant to only be positive.
Dear lord I needed this video. Honestly, it was really empowering to hear their stories. If you can, please do another video like this.
We love an intersectional feminist queen

Even if Anastasia's already super successful I love buying her products because she's Romanian like me and it's really inspiring seeing successful Romanian women make it in the industry! (Her name is Anastasia Soare - meaning Anastasia Sun)
Anais N Și eu sunt Românca!
im obsessed w the fact that her eyeshadow matches her flannel this is such a look
"Do you ever support a brand just because you know it's owned by a woman?" GURL YES. Especially with women (or men for that matter) of color!
loved this video but I also loveeee your teeth omg they are so pretty
Love the back stories! I've paused video and went to Instagram to immediately follow a few brands I didn't know. Thanks Jackie
I love how knowledgeable you are about these brands! This video was a great idea. I don't like waterproof mascara either.
This is lit!!! Road to 2 Milli... Jackie we got you all day
I really can’t believe people are really TRYING to call you out about ANYTHING mentioned in this video.
LOVE YOU JACKIE!!!!!!!!
I'm kinda upset this wasn't called "WOMB", woman owned makeup brands
Yes! I thought the same thing.
You’re clearly an innovator 😂 this blew my mind

thejoan82 because it’s awful!
Pixiwoo talked about their contour sticks a while back x
I LOVED liked how you included info about the women behind the brands❤️❤️ living for this empowerment
Damn this comment section is shameful today. So many female anti feminists Lolol y’all are trying it 🤔🙄
Ash C sitting here thinking the same thing 😒
Lol I wouldn't call myself an anti feminist I'm more of an egalitarian for equal rights not just woman
feminism isnt just for women, asshat. it focuses on women since.. we are.. oppressed... you walnut
