Awesome work! Thank you so much for the tutorials. I am waiting on my Ricoma training and trying to learn as much as possible while I wait. I am excited to start practicing what you are teaching me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you! Good luck with embroidery. The best advice I can give you is to embroider on items and designs that excite you and makes you happy. I think thats key especially during the long hours of certain projects. Good luck and have fun!!
Brooooo!!!! This came out so clean!! You seriously killed this one! My Ricoma comes in the next couple weeks, can't wait to do something like this with the twill! You inspire me and have taught me a lot already!
As always, enjoyed the video. I wasn't quite sure about you got the notch on the hoop to be on the other side. The tip was great however. Thanks for sharing.
No, I tried one time, and it was a headache. I would recommend using clamps if you do use the regular hoops. And make sure the weight doesn’t pop the hoops open.
@@RomeroThreads one more question! Does Romeo Threads have any videos on projects you’ve done using the table for Ricoma 1501? Have you used the table?
hi, so I've had this embroidery machine for about a month now and I am loving it, so if I am using a 17x15.5 inch frame, and my design is 11" in height and 10 in width, which frame would you suggest, because I am having a hard time, I went with F, but is that what you would suggest? I am trying to design a hoodie and the frame keeps jumping off the arms.
Hello, I use hoop F w/ this hoop. Don't know why its making that sound, but trace it and verify what its getting stuck with. Sounds like its jamming w/ something.
Yes that’s what’s is doing. When I do a trace, the front the hood hits where the bobbin thing goes. And the sides hit it as well. What would be the max dimensions on a file for this hoop?
Measure the hoop and that is your maximum size. Sounds like your design is too big. When you trace, it should all fit inside your hoop without going over. Be careful because you don't want to hit a needle or presser foot.
The hoop Im using is the 10x19 and my image is 7x16. I have the same machine as you. Maybe Il have my digitizer make it smaller and see if that changes anything. Thank you!
This specific one I got from United Threads. H&V Stitch Backers, 8825 - 2.5 Oz Soft and Stable Cutaway Backing, Roll - 23" x 25yds Roll www.unitedtps.com/25-Ounce-Rolls_c_154.html
That’s the best advertisement! Wearing your own merch.
Yes!! Always a conversation starter everywhere I go.
Thank you RT! You showed me exactly what I was looking for. Awesome outcome! Keep doing a great job!
Awesome video great information thanks for your guidance 🤙🏼

Great Video. I have a Carhartt jacket like that and it is my favorate.
Yes, very necessary for this Midwest snowy weather.
Perfect timing to watch this! I had a potential client asking about this. Thank you for this video!

Thank you. I'm hesitant on carhatt. I think I will try it now after the video.
Your Ricoma doesn't have laser alignment? Melco has it and it just saves so much time!
What is it? Is it the one that traces the needle?
Good video looks good

Thank you. I didn't do anything on the hoop, I just turn the top hoop around.
Another great project
You do such nice work. What hoop setting do you use on the Ricoma for that size hoop?
Thank you. I use Hoop F.
@@RomeroThreads Thank you
What did you use Ander the the border where to buy it?
what size is the backing that you used in this video?
Do you have any videos on hooping a Carhartt coat with out a mighty hoop?

@shannonhurley4051 I have never used the extended table. Thanks for asking.
Do you use any sort of stitch cover on the back side after your done or do you just leave it as is? Worried more about appearance than anything
No I don’t. I always let the customer know the backing will be visible, never been a problem.
@@RomeroThreads ok thank you!
Hello romero what was your SPM for this project? I'm about to do one tomorrow.
Im usually at 700 spm.
Excellent! What type of the settings are you using for the lines?
I am having a hard time doing the lines and is skipping threads in between.
Thanks for the video! what kind of rack do you have on the wall holding your hoops?
I got them at Ikea, super easy to install.

You should be good with F. Just make sure you trace before starting.
Where do you buy your twill? My local craft store sells it but it’s really expensive.
I get it at Twill USA, I put the link on the description.
do you have to have a fixture for every hoop?
No, the fixtures are adjustable.
Good Evening, how many stitches are in your design, if you do not mind me asking.
Yes the full size is 16" x 8.5" with 44,443 stitches.
Can a regular vinyl cutter be used to cut the tackle twill?
Yes, any standard vinyl cutter should be good.
Romero Threads Thank you!
When using this hoop, What hoop setting did you use? mine is making a funny noise when I use hoop F, which is the biggest one I have

What size needle and thread did you use?
Im using a 75/11 sharp on the red, and 80/12 sharp on the silver and white. Both were good, all about preference.
@@RomeroThreads awesome thank you and appreciate the help 🤙🏼
